Point of clarification: Sriram didn’t say he wants to remove all caps on green cards. He said he wants to remove *country* caps on green cards. Right now, every country in the world gets allocated the same number of green cards, no matter how many qualified applicants it has. So applicants from India have an 11 year wait whereas applicants from many other countries have no wait at all. Sriram still supports skills-based criteria for receiving a green card, not making the program unlimited. In fact, he wants to make the program entirely merit-based. Supporting a limited number of highly skilled immigrants is still a prevalent view on the right. Sriram is definitely not a “career leftist”!

The immigration system is broken for those who are trying to legally come to our country for a better way of life. It’s time to change this. My legislation will be a win for all Americans as it will improve our inefficient immigration system which has contributed to illegal immigration over time.

I challenge Robert Kennedy Jr. to go on Jon Stewart’s show. I want RFK Jr. to face what real, tough questions are like. I want RFK Jr. to sit face to face with Jon Stewart, one of the best interviewers of our time. Jon Stewart will rip RFK Jr. into shreds & it will be glorious.

In May of 2022, I created a members only, password protected page on my site to explain a novel approach to #AOS delays. Here is where future and former AILA presidents (apparently) accessed my secure site and emailed around my strategy. #theAILAfiles

At 25:35 the Gov Atty says @USCIS and @StateDept’s #AOS adj. hold policies “allow [the applicants] to benefit from retrogression.” ca5.uscourts.gov/OralArgRecordi… I have great respect for her. But this comment accurately reflects her clients’ indifference to the backlogged community.
