@BDAOfficialGok This is very nice. But I am curious about one thing - most of this area is no longer part of BDA jurisdiction, is it not? I recall the GBA was notified as the planning body for all the areas in the corporation limits.

@jagadishreddyx @lkatheeq This is not a BDA layout project to give land ratio as compensation, this comes under expressway project, where BDA don’t have authority to collect toll in first place. In 2005 BDA needed 100m ROW so it acquired but now if need 65m ROW so just acquire only this as per 2013 ACT

Technical bids for Package 1 of BBCL/ PRR1 are opened today: we have 2 bidders: 1. Shankar Narayan Construction, 2. Vishwa Samudra Engineering. @lkatheeq Sir, then how come you can allot the tender only based on 2022 Preliminary notifications for Nice integration stretch. Is the final notifications issued ? Is the farmers objections been heard? Is this the democracy or dictatorship?

@krishnar034 Plus there is the Madanayakanahalli spur of 3 km + to connect to PRR2, which is not included in the current Pkg 1. But it will be taken up separately to provide connectivity up to the MAR road, thus completing the connectivity from Madanayakanahalli to Mysore Road.

@lkatheeq Sir, as per new DPR only 68kms of road now with 3 kms being elevated at Hosur Road. For remaining 65 kms, we need 15kms stretch 100m ROW, and only 65m for 50kms stretch . We know BDA won’t denotify itself unless we get orders from court. Which we will get for sure.

Not true. For about 72 kms of road at 100 mts ROW 1800 land is required. (Here is the calculation: 72*1000 mts = 72,000 mts*100 mts= 72,00,000 sq meter. There are 4000 sq meters in 1 acre. So 72,00,000/4000=1,800 acres.) You may be arguing about the 35 meters that is being demarcated a commercial corridor to compensate the farmers. Firstly, 35 meters is not saved all along. We need 100 meters in many places where there are exits and inter changes. Secondly not a gunta of land can be de-notified. So, saying the double the land needed it being taken is not true.
