@UberEats & @Uber in USA continue to deploy several dark patterns and nothing is being done by @FTC @AFergusonFTC which gives them the confidence to use whatever manipulative practices they feel like. Similar is the case in India. Seems like @RamMNK & his team at @MoCA_GoI @DGCAIndia have acted in favour of the industry lobbying and put the progressive reform of capping percentage of seats sold on an airplane on hold. I am glad that more of us are raising these issues and thankful that @SmalhotraRBI @RBI is the first regulator after #CCPA notified dark patterns as illegal to act.
