Got a chance to interact with few of my politically active friends and relatives who actively worked in Kangeyam constituency either for ADMK or DMK, the feedback is that DMK minister Saminathan has a tough fight, it won’t be a surprise if loses by few thousand votes to ADMK. Reason : TVK is splitting DMK votes. ADMK’s loss to TVK is minimal. In 2021 Chennimalai Union block alone saved him with 7000+ lead, all other blocks he lost do ADMK. This is the situation of a non-controversial, soft spoken, less-corrupt, who brought few good projects for his assembly in last five years.

This is not a business. Politics is for the future generations. If we keep saying get out, it will be desert land. Nothing will grow. Either make them understand politely or be quiet. No point in showing frustration in negative way. Don't spoil the sacrifice of the #NTK cadres.

Why are recognized political parties being pushed under the label “Others” in exit poll discussions? If a party is officially recognized, has a registered symbol, contests across constituencies, has a defined vote base, and represents a section of people, then reducing it to “Others” is not fair journalism. It hides political reality from the public. Media houses must explain: 1. What is the criteria for calling a party “Others”? 2. Is it based on vote share? 3. Is it based on seats won in the past? 4. Is it based on alliance strength? 5. This has been there for quite long time, In China education is a public sector and they have strictly banned private institutions. In fact, since 2022 China has included Agriculture Farming in their primary education curriculum. China is 3 decades ahead of us!
