I built a Morning Brew-style daily newsletter that writes itself with AI (now at 10,000 daily readers) (and I’m nuts for open-sourcing it) The AI system behind @therecapai clones how a human writer would function, but each step is packaged into an agentic workstream. The full automation handles: - Daily scrapping hundreds of reddit threads, hackernews, twitter posts, Google news API to build a massive data lake of 'daily AI news' - Dozens of custom prompts to pull the top daily stories from this data lake, write short breakdowns, & format the newsletter - Builds custom images based on each story with ChatGPT image generator This was 5 MONTHS of iterating and fine-tuning prompts to get the output and content to an extremely high quality state (no AI slop) and call me crazy, but I'm giving it away for free. Just Retweet, follow me, and comment on this thread "NEWSLETTER" and I'll DM you the full n8n template that you can copy/paste and fine-tune to your use-case as well as a full hour long video breakdown explaining the build. Also you can see the actual contents of the newsletter for yourself with the link below—proof of the quality that is possible with AI. RIP media companies 💀 AI is here.

A 40-60% reduction in risk of death at 60 MET-hours/wk! This is not a small amount of exercise! Take a super-fit 70 year-old with a VO2max of 40ml/kg/min (this is *super*-fit ~95th+ percentile) Doing their aerobic training at 50-60% VO2max, this amounts to ~10 hours of training every week! i.e. ~90 minutes EVERY day! At lower fitness levels, it amounts to even more! #MoveForLife

@IAmAdamRobinson Doesn‘t this implicitly make the case for tail risk hedging? Ofc one would need to run the numbers. but over a long enough period, the difference 20x (missing all worst days vs buy and hold), so potentially enough room to produce a positive return even incl. heding cost

@awilkinson My only pushback here is that the quality is really hit or miss - but more often miss. It is easier to exit and enter another room but you end up cycling as you would with Netflix content.

@dfauchier Great thread, thank you. If you had to build a case against Tether, what factors would you highlight. Or asked differently, what would you need to see to change your opinion?

Finally, I know traders / funds, exchanges and OTCs first hand who have never had a problem creating or redeeming USDT in size. Thats not conclusive at all, but it’s not supportive of a giant exit scam either.

Some thoughts on this super inaccurate piece. tl;dr: this is not a defence of Tether/ iFinex, who I would like nothing more than to see disappear into irrelevance. However, most of the conclusions here show zero understanding of crypto market structure. crypto-anonymous-2021.medium.com/the-bit-short-…

Question: if you think that Tether offers a massive risk as it isn’t backed, why not set up a short tether, long USDC pairs trade to hedge bitcoin risk, if that is your fear.... my guess is you can create it positive funding but haven’t checked. Cc: @coloradotravis

My paper on tail option pricing (revealing the equations at UNIVERSA) is under revision by a journal. What happened is not an "outlier" But anyone who after today still says "tail options are expensive" deserves to be put in a sanatorium. twitter.com/nntaleb/status…
Nassim Nicholas Taleb@nntaleb

Posted on ArXiv the paper on tail option pricing & shopping for a journal. arxiv.org/abs/1908.02347 6th Journal pub in 2019! PS- Peer-review of technical work is often necessary but never sufficient (can be a cover for psych BS). It is not necessary if the proof is in the doc.

@medhatgalal @Carlos95045223 @nntaleb Buy $SPY June $200 puts, write April $190 puts. Short leg offsets time decay of long put, no losses if SPY stays where it is thru April. If it goes ITM in April, P/L 200%. If expires worthless you repeat and write May $190 put. Low cost insurance if shit hits the fan.
