@MieleUSA @ciaokumar Too heavy, power button and cord rewind poorly positioned and too big, keep switching off or cord rewinding whilst in using.

Cancelled plans because it's mail day and I am vacuuming my living room using my Miele CX1 Blizzard Turbo Team vaccum cleaner.

@gomni1807 We hear you! While the Blizzard CX1 HEPA filter is seated deeply for a high-pressure seal, it’s a separate, replaceable part (SF-HA 60), not molded into the housing. It’s designed to be swapped if ever needed. 😉 See it here: bit.ly/41FQTK7.

Any other industry would be embarrassed by a three year losing streak, but small appliance makers seem to wear their failing grades like a badge of honor. They are consistently flunking the @uspirg report card because they refuse to provide the most basic repair resources. It's time to stop buying from companies that treat repair like a crime. @gomni1807 Just to reassure you — Miele’s post‑motor HEPA filters aren’t molded into the motor cover. They’re separate, replaceable filters, engineered for long‑term performance and easy maintenance. We are happy to answer nay questions you may have!

@iFixit @uspirg I saw a @MieleUSA vacuum today that has its post motor HEPA filter molded into a plastic motor cover, so you'd have to replace the whole cover to change that filter. Instant "nope" from me. Blizzard CX1 in case anyone is thinking about one.

@MieleUSA @MieleCanada Do not buy Miele equipment it is incredibly poor. Our overpriced dryer, almost new, starts leaking and their service department comes out. Today I find out that when he was supposed to fix the leak he actually broke the dryer, it produces no heat. I was not at home / he leaves it “fixed” and does not test it. Then their service department takes full weekends off and is unreasonable. I paid for a 10 year warranty and this piece of junk could barely last a year.

We needed to replace our dishwasher Went to Lowe’s and bought the second cheapest option they had It’s a basic Samsung and may be my favorite dishwasher I’ve used Prior to this, we had a Whirlpool, Kitchen Aid, and a Bosch, all of which were more expensive models

@JebraFaushay I have a Miele vacuum cleaner. From Switzerland. Got it on Amazon. Best vacuum cleaner I ever had by far - it picks everything up.

I have never loathed a vacuum like I loathe this Dyson. Whose bright idea was it to have this ball constantly come apart from the vacuum? I have to stop and start my cleaning multiple times to reattach it.

@the_dadchef A friend bought Miele oven and had same thing happen within 6 mos of install. Took months to get replacement glass.

Do you ever look at something like a washing machine. And in a form of Dunning Kruger think, you know what , me and a couple of friends could design a better machine, with a better name, better marketing, better UI, better diagnostics , better customer service and a better business model I think that about 90% of stuff in the home. I’m not saying I’m right. But honestly these items seem deeply poorly thought through in almost every way

Miele Geschirrspüler von 2018, 1.400€ Bereits 2021 wurden beide Geschirrkörbe auf Kulanz vom Werk getauscht, da diese (wohl) durch sparsame Beschichtung von unten rosteten. Jetzt wieder Rost an unbenutzten Stellen, zum Glück nur an Klappgitter - kann ich entfernen.🧐
