The thing about this absurd notion that Israel shouldn't exist is that it does so much damage to Palestinians. Hamas's refusal to accept a Jewish state -- and the 30 years it has spent actively blocking normalization -- has been a disaster for Palestinians. It's left them in a state of political dislocation, allowed the Israeli right/settlers to strengthen their hold over the West Bank, all the while boosting rejectionist forces in Israel and hardening ordinary Israelis against territorial compromise.

We don't, in fact the billionaire owners could be using the league as a write off to lower their overall taxes. This new deal is a hint that the league is actually profitable.

If you want women's sports to survive securely you can't hinge it on the "charity" of billionaires. What if they decide to cut off that funding? What if the people that have invested in expanding the WNBA decide they'd like to make money or fold? It is important that the WNBA find a way to end up financially sustainable. Raising player salaries so the best female athletes can focus their lives on the WNBA and not have to spend time on offseason leagues, other jobs, etc... will help with that. But the WNBA losing money isn't irrelevant to the long term conversation.

I’m sorry if this is an unpopular opinion. Families adopting a child from a young mom, shouldn’t be allowed to wait at the hospital during the birth. They should be notified after, once Mama has had a little time with the child and is able to fully commit to the decision.
