Fair and valid points. I was only referring to the loyalty question you posed. That being said, I don’t take issue with those wanting to serve Canada. I applaud them. Where I put my foot down is on relaxing and lowering standards to accommodate and meet quotas. I know there are valid arguments on both sides for and against allowing PR’s to serve. Since this is brand new we will all have to wait and see how it turns out down the road. I think the broader questions that need to be asked in both media and political circles is “why cant we recruit enough of our own citizens anymore?” It is a national security issue.

@mushytoe @mjfree dude, you never backed a semi up to a tomato farm in west texas; 5 acres under roof, with 20-30 foot tall tomato 'trees' which fruit in 6 packs neatly, maybe the workers trimmed the young plants. indoor farming is easy and uses far less water, less pesticides. food is easy...

@mjfree they only need to fertilize 'depleted' soils. if they move to 'new', or 'rotate crops' and plow under the 7th year you won't need fertilizers.
