People burnish their chains and declare them ornaments but they are nonetheless bound

An old, but apt fable: A scorpion wants to cross a river but cannot swim, so it asks a frog to carry it across. The frog hesitates, afraid that the scorpion might sting it, but the scorpion promises not to, pointing out that it would drown if it killed the frog in the middle of the river. The frog considers this argument sensible and agrees to transport the scorpion. Midway across the river, the scorpion stings the frog anyway, dooming them both. The dying frog asks the scorpion why it stung despite knowing the consequence, to which the scorpion replies: "I am sorry, but I couldn't help myself. It's my character." @Wikipedia

This is the exact reason they tried to throw him in jail/kill him multiple times… @realDonaldTrump will go down as the greatest RINO hunter in the history of politics.

Its simple. This is Trump's GOP. You simply cannot go against him and win. What's the list of people that have tried? Cornyn. Massie. Liz Cheney. Mitt Romney. Justin Amash. All gone.

@TPCarney I’m so glad that your way of thinking is being rejected by 2 to 1 in Texas. Maybe Republican policies will actually be put in place.

At some point, actual Christians, not just the ones who call themselves that, are gonna have to opt out of politics for the parties to improve the quality of their candidates. Continuing to insist Christians vote for evil, so long as it’s lesser than the other, is getting old.
