It’s simply a matter of observing and commenting on the order of operations. I’m stating that OpenAI had no clue what was going on until they were contacted by HF, and then they proceeded to investigate, and then they realized that their test environment was in fact compromised. They then proceeded to offer cooperation in the investigation, communication, etc. It’s a “which came first” of significant technical and security importance. Which is what happened. Which was my point. Which you seem to be struggling unnecessarily to understand.
