@RealRogueDriver @Marcus___007 @lsferguson She’s 22? Must be a typo. That’s not a kid - 12 is a kid. My high school age kids were flying overseas alone for their international exchange programs. They could handle the inevitable changes without needing help from me. Is she special needs?

I wish you could be the pilot that flies my kid to Seattle in June. You are totally chill just the pilot she needs lol She’s flying to visit her boyfriend again. The first flight was a nightmare for her (22 years old flying across country alone) ! I ended up driving to Philadelphia to get her instead of the airport she left from 15 minutes from home because they changed her return flight and put her on a 6 hour layover at OHARE! We both said HELL NO She was able to get off that flight and take an overnight direct from Seattle to Philly! Me…. I’m terrified of flying and being on bridges🤣🤦🏻‍♀️ if I can’t drive there chances are I’m not gonna be going!!🤣🤦🏻‍♀️

@TamashiiLuck @utter_deckhead My daughter came home from kindergarten one day, talking about a boy in her class who loved to play only with the girls and model their dress-up clothes, and she solemnly announced to me, “I think Julio is a girl in a boy body.” Age 5

When I was 5 years old my dad had a Tom Cruise movie on the TV and in the middle of an action sequence (I don't remember it) I said "Daddy, when that man does exciting things my willy gets hard" and he just sat in silence for the rest of the movie

@vildanakpolatt Okul öncesi öğretmeniyim. 5 yaşında öğrencimde çıktı. Koluna bir cihaz takılı. Telefona anlık olarak şekerinin kaç olduğunu gönderiyor. Sürekli takip ediyorum. Dikkat etmeye çalışıyorum. Onun için inanılmaz zor. Hayatı boyunca bununla yaşayacağını bilmek her seferinde yaralıyor

Dün sınavda 10 yaşında bir öğrencim “Hocam tuvalete gidebilir miyim?” dedi. Koridorda sessizce “Şeker hastasıyım, ölçmem lazım” diye fısıldadı. Birlikte gittik. Şekerini ölçtü ve sonra “Su bulur musunuz hocam?” dedi. “Şekerin mi yüksek?” diye sordum, “Yok hocam, düştü” dedi.

As we remember our incredible daughter, Maddy, my family has been deeply touched by the outpouring of support we’ve received. Thank you to everyone for your kind words. Maddy was a deeply empathetic and engaged person. Even as recently as the day she passed, she was full of ideas and suggestions for me – especially how I could improve my social media to make a difference. She used to say to me: “Dad, you have the power – you have to use it.” She pushed me to make the most of my position, to use my seat in the Senate to help people in meaningful ways. If I can find any solace during this time, it’s that I have the enormous privilege to serve Virginians and the responsibility to keep working for a better, more just world in Maddy’s name. I look forward to returning to the Senate this week and continuing that essential work.

My daughter (3yo) and I were walking through an aisle when an older man approached us. He was smiling and seemed friendly enough at first. Without much conversation, he pulled out a lollipop and tried to offer it directly to her. Before my toddler could even react, I calmly said, “No, thank you.” My daughter also declined immediately, which honestly made me feel a little proud in the moment. She’s learning to respond the same way I do. But instead of accepting that, he kept going. He leaned in again, still trying to hand it to her, speaking to her directly like I hadn’t just said “No” politely. It wasn’t aggressive, but it also wasn’t respectful of the boundary that had already been set. So I stepped in more firmly. I took the lollipop from his hand, repeated, “No, thank you,” and placed it on a nearby counter. I didn’t raise my voice, I didn’t make a scene, I just made it very clear that the answer wasn’t changing. And that’s when the tone shifted. He said I was…

In Harvard student housing there are known areas where kids just leave stuff they don’t want. My brother frequented these areas daily, and scored thinks like Canada Goose Jackets, Hunter Boots good furniture- the best find was jars of money- including bills. Often around $100 in coins, ones and fives they couldn’t be bothered with.

J.D.Vance is being put in the woodchopper by President Trump The Iran talks went on for a very long time. But the U.S. was never going to accept continued uranium enrichment and a pathway to a nuclear bomb. So there was always a ceiling on those negotiations. Now — the attack on the Pope. People are missing the Vance dimension entirely. Vance converted to Catholicism. I’m a practicing Catholic myself. The Pope is not just a religious figure — he’s a political signal for 80 million American Catholics. Trump attacking the Pope is also a slight on J.D. Vance. Deliberate or not — that’s what it is. And here’s the pattern you need to understand: Trump puts everybody in the woodchipper before it’s over. The podcast hosts who supported him. The people inside the administration. The people closest to him. Nobody is safe. Nobody has ever been safe. It’s not personal. It’s just who he is. Vance is feeling it now. He won’t be the last.

Guys. I’m going to close my @TMobile account after 25 years because they has added a new policy that if you use your number for travel and it’s uses excessive data roaming EVEN if you paid $50 Extra dollars per month for extra International data roaming. They turn off your ability to use data. Question: What company am I switching to? Who has the best international travel data plans in the USA? I’m leaving them behind. Their customer service was like “Too bad. We don’t care.”

A few weeks ago I had a conversation with an American who genuinely believed Europe and Canada would help the United States in its war with Iran. I asked him why he thought that, given that Trump had spent months threatening to annex Canada and seize Greenland. He went quiet. Then he said he had never heard of any of that. Not that he disagreed. Not that he thought it was exaggerated. He had simply never encountered the information. It had never arrived. This is worth pausing on. Because in every other functioning democracy on earth, that information would have been impossible to avoid. Not because Europeans are smarter or more curious. But because of how news works outside the United States. The BBC and The Daily Telegraph hate each other. Le Monde and Le Figaro disagree on everything. Aftenposten and Dagbladet have been arguing since before most of their readers were born. But they all cover the same events. A threat to annex Canada is not a left-wing story or a right-wing story. It is a story. It runs everywhere. You hear it on the radio driving to work. You see it on the newsstand. Your colleague mentions it at lunch. Facts are not a channel you choose. They are the weather. You step outside and they hit you. The only media ecosystems on earth that work differently are not political opposites of each other. They are North Korea and Russia. Not because the content resembles MAGA content. But because the architecture is the same. In all three cases, outside information does not get filtered or reinterpreted. It gets blocked at the door. A completely parallel reality is built inside, maintained by repetition, and sealed from correction. This is why the rest of the world does not just disagree with MAGA voters on foreign policy. It finds them genuinely disorienting to talk to. Not offensive. Disorienting. Like speaking to someone who is absolutely certain the building has two floors when you are standing on the third. Which brings us to today’s masterclass. And this screenshot says everything. A Trump supporter posted: “Absolute masterclass by Trump. He got the Strait open without any help from Europe and without any boots on the ground.” That post was written on the same day a refinery on Lavan Island burned for hours after the ceasefire was announced. On the same day Iran’s own official statement read “this does not signify the termination of the war.” On the same day Iran kept its toll system, its uranium program, its protocol over the strait, and walked away with sanctions relief and reconstruction aid. The post is not stupid. It is not written by a bad person. It is written by someone who received a completely different set of facts than the rest of the world did. And from inside that information environment, with only that data, the conclusion is perfectly logical. That is what makes it so unsettling. It is not ignorance. It is a sealed universe, doing exactly what sealed universes do. Gandalv / @Microinteracti1
