With the incident of Religious Conversion at TCS Nasik drawing attention, it is time for us as citizens to wake up to the realities around us. I have always respected all religions and have friends across communities, but when religious assertion spills into public spaces, it becomes a matter of discipline and fairness. We see nam@z being offered on busy roads every Friday, in airports, train stations, even inside trains and maidans. Corporates too have started allocating garages or giving extended breaks for Friday prayers which seems a completely baised decision. This is not about faith, it is about the use of shared spaces meant for everyone. Public areas like airports are meant for travel and safety, not for religious gatherings. In the year 2017, I had spoken out against nam@z being offered at Mumbai T2 International airport, stressing that such practices disrupt neutrality and accessibility of public infrastructure. We must stand firm that while every religion deserves respect, public spaces must remain free from religious assertion. Discipline, fairness, and equal access are the cornerstones of a healthy society. Let’s raise our voices to ensure that our public spaces remain inclusive and functional for all citizens. Also let us raise our voices to keep corporate infrastructure free of religious bias. @vinitgoenka Religious practices should be confined to homes not on roads and streets. I still remember in the train the whole passage was blocked because doing dinner mass. Giving half day or leave on Fridays it's not required it is loss of man hours
