@C_3C_3 @FormerFeds I’ve always felt this way about republicans They prefer being in the minority so they can cut deals with Dems for their votes. Little tid bits for their donors or family businesses They miss all the deals and back slapping of the past.

Once you realize this everything makes sense… Many Republicans want the Dems to be able to cheat so they never have an overwhelming majority. This allows Republicans to hide behind the 60 vote filibuster and do what their donors want instead of what the American people want.

The defendant submitted numerous fraudulent loan applications using false information and diverted taxpayer funds meant for struggling businesses. When you lie, cheat, and exploit programs meant to help others, accountability doesn’t stop at sentencing. It follows you.

It’s also stunning to routinely hear judges make declarations for which they have no basis. How does he know the public has lost trust in the office? Did he conduct a poll? How many NJ residents even know such an office exists? Just totally inappropriate conjecture.
