After 27 incredible years of countless stories & meaningful journalism, I have resigned from @ndtv @ndtvindia. This had become an inseparable part of my life, almost a middle name. It's a deeply emotional moment as I sign off for the last time with immense pride as #UmaSudhirNDTV

Switched capacitor circuits boost battery efficiency by safely moving charge between cells. This helps extend battery life and performance. Read the full blog: xbattery.energy/blog/switched-…

@TopDriverIndia Requesting @GHMCOnline to enforce lane direction marking all over the city, it won’t cost much. Instead of painting the flyovers with bright colours, we could have done this.

Visiting Sri Lanka, their lane markings are much better than ours, so is their Driving discipline. Check the directional arrows on each lane. Why can’t we get this right? #roadsafety #srilankabeach

@TeslaClubIN Credit can be given to Mahindra’s revolutionary cars and for integrating with BYD battery. You are implying that Mahindra has contributed something to the blade battery’s BMS and chemistry for increased charging speed.

@anandmahindra It’s sad to realise that socialist economy has destroyed India every possible way. Two generations of Indians had their productivity wasted due to restrictive policies.

Can anyone help me? Kia's vendor, Statiq is installing an 11kw charger with aluminum wire at my home. I already have a MG charger with copper cable. Am I downgrading? Does aluminum wire cause any problems in the future? @TeslaClubIN @statiqdev @KiaInd

@HYDTrafficMan @iPrakashAluru You should demand right of way for pedestrians not the removal of free lefts. Free left upon yielding is perfect safe and followed across the world, we don’t need different rules just because others don’t follow rules.

@iPrakashAluru My post for free left removal is not in regard with traffic congestion but primarily for pedestrians. Roads are not just vehicle centric but also a shared space for pedestrians and Pedestrian safety also has to be a top priority over traffic congestion.

How many of you want that free left's has to be eliminated from the city as it lacks scientific & logical analysis and is not eligible on indian roads. Taking free left on the red signal is equivalent to signal jumping. Free left de-congests the traffic is a myth as the traffic flow and changes of lanes, road width adds congestion to radial subsequent intersections. Pedestrians are at vulnerable risk with zebra crossing at curves and access to free left flow for over speeding drivers.

@IndianTechGuide Starlink has a very high potential for success if the pricing is competitive. Internet is extremely cheap in India with stiff competition and many providers. Most people have data plans on their phones and data plans are unusually cheap as well.

@IndianTechGuide Many people miss the point. Starlink is not meant to replace broadband. It's for remote areas, oceans, travelers who need internet where traditional broadband can't reach. Also, it’s best for low latency applications such as trading across continents.

There are no lane markings on that road but rumble strips. It shows GHMC priorities. We need to replace entire GHMC engineering department with people who know international road guidelines and standards otherwise we are making our lives difficult each year. Remember there were no rumble strips a couple of years ago. We are making our roads worse every year with unscientific rumble strips and lane blocking barricades. I sometimes feel that there is no hope.

Instead of laying unscientific thick rumble strips, can GHMC focus on the below global standard road lane markings in metropolitan city like hyderabad. These markings also educate commuters on road etiquettes. What are your views ? @GHMCOnline @TelanganaCMO @HYDTP @CYBTRAFFIC

@TeslaClubIN EV trucks are a big deal. They eliminate diesel and noise pollution. They also run a lot compared to private cars creating more impact.

@CYBTRAFFIC This looks like a patch work. Where are lane markings? How do people know where lane ends and where shoulder starts ? Why cement road when the rest of the road is BT road ?

Hi @MGMotorIn - I got this as a WhatsApp message from you. I have a few questions : 0. If these steps impact the range, then it surely impacts the battery pack too. Correct? 1. Why are you informing me to not let the SoC drop below 20%? Why was this not informed when I was buying the car? Why are you restricting me to use only 60% of the battery capacity when I’ve paid for 100% of the battery pack? 2. How does frequent slow charge help? When purchasing the car, the showroom folks never advised on the amount of slow and fast charges we can do. 3. How will waiting for 20-25 mins before the next charge help when someone sees a sudden drop in the range? Also, your older MG models have NMC battery packs and newer ones have LFP. Are these guidelines for both of them? What is the quantifiable impact on range? Hey @TeslaClubIN - does any of this make sense?

@TeslaClubIN As MG ZS EV owner, I am completely disappointed with lack of option for outright purchase. I feel this is going to be a disaster. Indians value ownership and want to own things fully which is why leasing never took off.

Our view: We are not sure why MG went with this BAAS. There's no option for outright purchase. We would have liked that option as well. Before you get excited about unlimited battery warranty, remember it's a battery rental, so they kind of have to give it. There's only one battery pack option over that, while internationally there are 50.6kWh & 56.8kWh as well. 50.6kWh option would have been appreciable too. Doesn't seems as exciting now as we hoped for. What do you guys think?
