To enhance transparency and improve ease of travel for National Highway users, NHAI is installing QR code-based information boards on key National Highway corridors in #Bengaluru. These QR boards are currently available on Bengaluru–Nelamangala section of NH-48 and Bengaluru–Kolar–Mulbagal section of NH-75. By simply scanning the QR code, commuters can instantly access essential details about the National Highway stretch, nearby toll plazas, and wayside amenities. The QR codes also provide quick access to important emergency contacts, including highway patrol teams, engineers, police stations, hospitals, and the National Highway helpline. This initiative reflects NHAI’s continued efforts to leverage technology for a safer, more informed, and seamless travel experience on National Highways. @PMOIndia @MORTHIndia @PIBMoRTH #NHAI #BuildingANation

Building a Sustainable, Future-Ready Outer Ring Road Through Collective Leadership and Shared Purpose The Outer Ring Road Companies Association (ORRCA) had the privilege of hosting Hon’ble Minister Shri Priyank Kharge, Minister for IT/BT & Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, along with Dr. Manjula N., IAS, Secretary – Department of Electronics, IT, BT & S&T; Shri Maheshwar Rao, IAS, Chief Commissioner – Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA); and Shri Ramesh D.S., East Commissioner, BBMP at the Goldman Sachs Office, Helios Business Park, Outer Ring Road, Bengaluru. A select group of CXOs from leading Fortune 500 companies and Tech Park Owners participated in a constructive dialogue addressing mobility and infrastructure challenges impacting companies operating along the Outer Ring Road (ORR) — Bengaluru’s most vital technology and employment corridor. Key Outcomes & Way Forward: 1. Agreement and commitment by all concerned that ORR Metro going live by Dec 2026 is an absolute must. 2. Formation of a Nano Monitoring Group to fast-track Metro construction, targeting early completion by September 2026. 3. Development of a joint Government–Industry Blueprint outlining short- and long-term actions to make ORR a sustainable, future-ready corridor. 4. Establishment of a regular review mechanism between ORRCA and government departments to monitor progress and address implementation challenges collaboratively. At ORRCA, our mission is to enable a safe, efficient, and sustainable mobility ecosystem for over 1.3 million employees and 500+ companies along the corridor — through public–private collaboration, unified advocacy, and shared accountability. #ORRCA #Bengaluru #Mobility #Infrastructure #SustainableCities #ITBT #Collaboration #FutureReady #CorporateLeadership @GBAChiefComm @PriyankKharge @OfficialBMRCL @rk_misra

Yesterday, the road right next to the MLA’s office was finally asphalted. It was in terrible condition earlier, so this should have been good news. But guess what - a truck was parked on one stretch, and they simply skipped that entire patch and walked away. Now there’s an uneven bump in the middle, and the exposed edge will start chipping off again, eventually turning into fresh potholes. This is exactly how poorly our civic agencies function - zero planning, zero supervision, and zero accountability. @GBA_office @GBAChiefComm @comm_blr_south

We just received this message from a Whitefield resident. Another young life lost to Bengaluru potholes. Last Sunday around 1.30 AM, an Amazon employee, Ankush Mitra, died in a road accident on Channasandra Main Road near Zudio / SBR One. According to the resident who wrote to me, the bike hit a pothole, Ankush was thrown off, hit a concrete structure on the roadside and died on the spot. The rider survived. Ankush was an IIT Delhi and IIM Kozhikode alumnus, and had been working at Amazon in Bengaluru for the past seven years. He lived in SS Samruddhi Apartments with his mother. She lost her husband last year. Now she has lost her only son because a pothole on a city road was not fixed. Bengaluru roads are killing people. Families are being destroyed while authorities look away. @CMofKarnataka @siddaramaiah @DKShivakumar @BlrCityPolice @cpblr @EASTCITYCORP @MALimbavali How many more deaths before someone takes responsibility?
