Guess where I am? Stalled somewhere after jayadeva bus stop. Why? The new @BMTC_BENGALURU ticketing method. The conductor has to generate individual QR codes for each passenger, but since ticketing is for stages, they have to issue all tickets before the bus passes that stage.

@pkanamarla @MtcChennai @tnstaofficial MRTS has been quite well patronized because of its value and speed end to end. But the stations were a different story, abandoned & derelict. MTC was operating buses from some stations for a while, but never scaled up, then dropped. LMC only needs a scheme. Govt never cared.

Long awaited project. Hope with the operationalisation of this stretch, the ridership of MRTS improves. Though ambience and facilities at the stations, parking needs to be improved. @MtcChennai in coordination with the Commissioner Of Transport @tnstaofficial needs to improve first and last mile connectivity.
