@HarryStebbings Tough to pick one. Lack of talent density, capital density, pay it forward culture, techno optimism… The IRA (for climate/industrials). In our first fund raises we spoke about that our main “competitor” was ‘the idea of Silicon Valley’. Now we’ve expanded to the US, haha.

I have had enough of Europeans saying that Europe has not performed simply because the ecosystem is not mature enough. We have had 20 years. At this stage it is not time. It is regulation, fragmentation of countries and languages, access to talent but lord, it is not time.

We put so much hard work and passion into building the software, but I didn’t feel like we’d actually finished the job. Our vision has always been to build the ultimate to-do app that works perfectly for your personal and professional projects. Wunderlist was simple, beautiful, and easy – but never optimized for teams. When Microsoft took over my team and relaunched Wunderlist under its new brand, Microsoft ToDo, I tried to use it, but it just wasn’t for me. So I tried buying Wunderlist back but didn’t succeed. That was the day I decided to found Superlist – the real successor product to Wunderlist. Our team worked incredibly hard on Superlist – we are super excited to launch v1.0 today. The product is still early, but we feel the time is right. Our goals for the upcoming months are to make Superlist simpler, more delightful, and incredibly useful and productive for teams. Thank you to the Superlist team for being patient and really giving their best, especially in the last months. This is the start of a long journey. We’re super excited and can’t wait for your feedback!
