This resto is asking for more TFWs. (Article in replies). The only way Canadian wages will increase, & better labour mobility and skills training policies will be enacted is if the endless supply of low skilled, temporary foreign labour is ended. Abolish the TFW program, now.

In 1971, Pierre Elliott Trudeau adopted multiculturalism as official policy. He soon changed Canada’s immigration system. The results. Toronto. 1/

Let me explain Dallas(s) 1. The summers are unbearable and this cannot be understood without moving there. You can't just visit Texas for 3 weeks in peak summer and understand it, because that's not why it's bad. It's bad because it's late October and it's 90+ and you're questioning your sanity as to whether not it will ever end. 2. Dallas' culture, superficially seems good, but once you dig down... 3. Dallas living is about the airport. You save money in Dallas and then fly out all the time because being in Dallas is rough. Airline travel in the US has declined a lot, so this way of life works less well. 4. The driving. It's dangerous. You need a tank and you're going to be sitting in it all the time. Dallas sort of seems like a city but it's not really. It's more like an area. 5. You can trade 3% state income tax for better weather, more trees, and fewer problems. I think Dallas is a solid place to live in a bigger house with A/C and grind for money aggressively for a short period of time and then move out of. Other than that, unless you are tied down there (job, family), I can't recommend it.
Amy Nixon@texasrunnerDFW

I am astounded by the number of millennial families who moved to Dallas, bought a home, then turned around and sold the home to move out of Dallas, in less than a 5 year time span Is Dallas just super transient or is this a post-pandemic phenomenon happening everywhere?

@robertnata1234 So who cares if the population of Italy is lower than it was last year? Like genuinely why does it matter? It’s not like it’ll even hit a historical low. Why does there being fewer people in a country alarm anybody? Why does it need to grow every year? That sound silly.

this is a misunderstanding of the statistics because it's a bi-modal distribution being averaged out across the population. there is a segment of the population that is not at replacement, and a segment of the population that is at / above replacement. the libtards and wine aunts not producing are irrelevant to the segment of the population that is producing. i don't care if the total population of the country is lower. that's actually what we want. and i don't care if libtards are not producing -- again, that's what we want.
Robert@robertnata1234

@heywildrich You don’t want to be in a breeding race with the third world. But at least you can produce replacement level birth rates. For example, Italy’s TFR is 1.14 (including that of immigrants). This is not population decline . This is population collapse

I've been saying this for ages: India is facing very serious demographic issues themselves - aging population, highly skewed sex-ratio (far more males than females) and they don't have have the welfare frameworks to deal with any of it. Their solution is to export as much of their excess population as possible, and they're using the West a giant dumping ground for it. Africa is doing the same thing, but is far less organised. They don't care about the environmental or cultural damage it causes, and their respective diasporas will extract as much as possible from the countries unlucky enough to be on the receiving end of their invasion. These people are civilisation-destroyers and will just feed on the Host until it eventually dies, and whole world becomes a large Brown slum.
Marko Matvikov@MarkoMatvikov

While Australians grapple with inflation and declining living standards, India aims to stabilise its population at replacement level and improve living standards. Consider this: Australia and India have a similar working age population (65% and 68%). Both Australia and India have a birth rate below replacement (1.42 and 1.93). Australia has a lot of old people and India has a lot of young people. Both Australians and Indians face strain on services and infrastructure, and unaffordable housing. Australia’s seemingly accepted population replacement over population sustainability. But what is India doing? Signing agreements with western nations to export its excess population. And in doing so: 1. Mitigating against inflation due to excess demand 2. Reducing strain on services and infrastructure 3. Generating income in western countries to send back to India 4. Using that income to improve the lives of Indians in India How much? India is the world’s largest recipient of remittances - raking in $135bn last financial year alone.

@Molson_Hart America is a massive economic zone, even the Trump admin has conceded and bowed down to this inevitable fact, the country only exists for making money, Any American who hasn't made their peace with this by this point can either migrate out or just stand to profit from it.

Hundreds of people complaining about Indian immigration when that’s not even what the post is about. No one ever provides a coherent plan to actually remove the immigrants they dislike so much. And no one ever organizes to enact political change. America is apathetic.
molson 🧠⚙️@Molson_Hart

Americans dissing India is lame. India is not a first world country, we get it. But at least they’re trying and getting better. What are we doing? Not trying and getting worse.

Going through the report now. Defence ministers/CAF have repeated that recruitment standards were not being lowered but that's now proven to be false. With lowered medical and no aptitude tests, CAF has recruited at least one schizophrenic, and folks who can't even read.
