Ok. I'm whipping our charts because apparently that validates ones opinion. The "logical" $TSLAQ arguments are predicated on the fact that there are perceived demand issues. Been there, done that. Don't give me the "the competition is better." I look at the chinese auto market specifically in EV's (it's more mature than America and has better offerings) and Tesla is doing extremely well there and the product is competitive-- pre-FSD. Post FSD every single one will sell like hot cakes. The Chinese OEM's are also not profitable on their own (yes BYD is but not if you strip out their hybrid/gas units as well as govt subsidies). I've said it time and time again-- the global auto market is big enough to fulfill the full installed capacity of Tesla. The difference is what TAM Tesla playing in. We think of passenger autos with the current fleet. Robotaxi unlocks a new TAM, Tesla semi unlocks a new TAM. This is just enlarging the pie that Tesla plays in. To the point about the 50% growth forecasts- I genuinely don't know how people miss this, but it's CAGR. Since inception $TSLA is sitting at ~74% (a little higher but I'm sandbagging). The guidance given didn't specify a particular year but many can assume 2030 with the aspiration of ~10M units of autos being sold. This only addresses your view of Tesla as an auto company. I don't care about the autos. The big money is in grid scale utilities, AI, and robotics. Since the early days @elonmusk has said Tesla is a software company, but they've hit the upper bounds of what hardware can do. Nobody is moving at the pace they want and Tesla does what it takes to move faster-- make the hardware, reinvent the process, and move down the supply chain if needed (lithium refining this year). It's extremely rare for a company to both increase its industry spread AND verticals. Fundamentals aren't deteriorating. People's vision is just too small and ignoring the foundation being laid for the next stage of growth. Also, we're being pepper sprayed by the media with all the DOGE work Elon is doing but totally ignoring the 130K+ people at Tesla hell bent on changing the world for the better. OH and also, Tesla is arguably the most geographically de-risked company from supply to finished goods. A large end to end factory on every continent/geographical alliance. Does it suck that the stock is down from ATH's? Absolutely-- but my car drives me to and from work. My house generates energy/makes me money, my truck can do the hard work and backup my house, my kids love it, it keeps everybody safe, and the cars are hella fun to drive (when I want to). I'll be waiting for the next leg up on the stock, I just hope it comes before the Roadster 2.0 @TeslaBoomerMama @SawyerMerritt @Micro2Macr0

I haven’t been on X all weekend and I feel incredible. The negativity that we see regarding Tesla and SpaceX stock is enough to drive anybody crazy. I bought more on Friday.

2 years ago I got hyper bullish on $TSLA when it was all time high, not knowing any better I went all-in $TSLL .. price was around $20 .. TSLA started dropping and instead of taking a small loss I kept averaging down seeing my port go down 60% at one point.. it was brutal. Only thing that saved me is I kept buying more and then doubled the position at $9 just to see it finally break even in a year .. I would have been in much better position if I was just buying regular shares. And buying calls is even worse than leveraged ETFs imo. NFA.

End of week open positions update I have to keep an eye on those 420 puts on $TSLA. Cost basis is $310 after premium which is nice, but I don’t exactly have $670k sitting around. Right now I’ve got roughly $300k cash and $800k in a QQQ position that’s covered with calls. Plan is to sell down the QQQ and take the long-term capital gains. I opened that QQQ position when $TSLA was above $420 at the end of 2024. Same approach applies to the $SPCX puts — mix of managing and taking assignment as needed. YTD gains have been reduced to $400k now. I also have 1,000 $TSLA shares bought last November at 400 cost basis. If we’re still down here by then, I’ll tax-harvest those for roughly $100k in losses. That’s a $30k tax savings I’m happy to take all day long — then put the $300k to work elsewhere or hold it for the June 2027 assignments. That’s a ways off, so in the meantime I’m just sitting back and enjoying the ride. Enjoy the weekend @tesla family.

I want to solicit input from the crowd on this one. In the @Tesla earnings call last night @elonmusk said: "I think it will make sense to upgrade all cars that have less than HW4. Any cars that have cameras basically. I think we want to upgrade them to the next-gen AI board. We have an upgraded AI4 chip around the middle of next year. Then AI5, which hopefully will be in volume production in middle of next year." I don't know why he said .. "any cars that have camera's basically" .. From what we know all Tesla's have only camera's. Was this an implication that there is finally a High Definition Radar in works? Or was this just a misspoken sentence where he was trying to same something else? Give me some ideas what others heard..

Robotaxi in Orlando. To the doubters, this is Unsupervised FSD. Took a quick ride from the service center to get a coffee and back also saw a Golden Boi. Will post later 😉

🚨 France officially considers Tesla #FSD unsafe in its current form and will not approve it yet. A senior official states: • At least one hand must remain on the wheel. • Several other European countries share the same safety concerns. • France supports the tech, but prioritizes full safety across Europe More data & improvements needed. #Tesla #FullSelfDriving #AutonomousDriving #EV

@Jaime_Fe_Ro @invest_YPIM @surfranchvibes Entirely different thing than what’s being discussed but that’s the employees choice. If they get an award it’s typically a choice of options long dated or RSU’s

@tslataur Hindsight is 20/20, selling calls isn’t gauranteed and the risk of FOMO is very high if it goes the other way. What creates a poor taste in the mouth is when you see everything else rip and TSLA doesn’t. Been there done that. Totally get it and totally get the frustration

My biggest issue isn't even the poor performance. It's the voluntary guidance on what to expect, utterly missing said guidance, then completely blackholing as if it was never said with no further explanation as to why the misses. Rocky stock expected. Just don't honeydick me into holding what I feel like will be a rocket ship, NOT selling calls when I should have based on what I'm told, then only to find out the words meant less than a fart in the wind and there is no reason given. What would literally any management do with a project lead that gives timelines for project milestones, fails to meet said milestones and doesn't even mention them as having existed? No explanation? Explanations go a long way, and maybe holding cards closer to the chest in terms of volunteering timelines would serve the stock better in the future. False pumps on pumpy-words and poor performance afterwards is what creates that bad taste in $TSLA holders' mouths, not the actual rockiness of the stock itself.

Got another “Why are you still invested in $TSLA then?” I can recognize that being invested since 2021 has been a horrible decision performance-wise. Having my money basically anywhere else would’ve been better. I also believe $TSLA will beat the S&P 500 in the coming years — so I hold. It’s funny getting these questions. The answer is simple to me. What’s even funnier is watching people defend prior performance that’s caused them to lag the market… while questioning mine. Conviction cuts both ways.
