I pay GST not because I have faith in the system, I pay because I have to, there is no way out. All the tax I am paying is going to some babu or a corrupt contractor or politician. I get nothing in return. Broken roads, filthy premises, polluted air, adulterated food, corrupt govt officials, no security, collapsing bridges, no clean water, no quality education, overcrowded hospitals, endless traffic jams, delayed justice, electricity cuts, waterlogging, crumbling public transport, and rising crime rates... I can go on and on.

The accused in the fatal SUV-bike collision in #Haryana's #Gurugram, which killed a 23-year-old man, is a repeat offender and has been previously fined for wrong side driving and wrong side parking. #AkshatGarg died last week after his bike was hit by an SUV that was being driven recklessly in the wrong direction on Golf Course Road in DLF Phase II. The accused, #KuldeepKumarThakur, who was arrested but has been granted bail, was challaned previously on August 24 for wrong side driving and wrong parking by #HaryanaPolice. The accused also failed to provide his driving licence after being arrested. Thakur reached out to an acquaintance to procure a backdated driving licence. The aide told to media that Kuldeep Thakur reached out to him on September 17 for a backdated driving licence. He said he had no clue about it and routed the query to another person. Kuldeep also allegedly called him for a lawyer on the day of the accident. Visuals captured on a GoPro camera worn by the victim's biker friend showed the Mahindra 3XO SUV being recklessly driven on the wrong side at high speed. The SUV also had a #BJP sticker on its bonnet. The impact of the collision flung Akshat Garg above the SUV, and his motorcycle was mangled beyond recognition. Garg was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival. Amid an outrage over the incident, senior police officer Vikas Kaushik said the accused has not been able to produce his driving licence yet and stringent sections would be added against the accused in the case. "The accused has not been able to produce his driving licence yet, so we are assuming that he does not have one. I have instructed the police to add the relevant sections again and take further action," Kaushik said. "If required, the accused can be arrested again," he further said.

"Put a BJP sticker on your vehicle, and you're above the law." Have you got no concern for a human life? On Sunday night, young biker #AkshatGarg lost his life when a #Mahindra 3XO, driven recklessly in the wrong direction, hit him. His friend Pradyuman, who witnessed the incident, says that the driver, #KuldeepThakur, was speeding against traffic. Even with the seriousness of the case, #GurugramPolice have only registered an FIR under sections 106 (causing death by negligence), 281 (rash driving), 324(4) (causing damage over ₹20,000), and 166 (compensation after a #vehicle accident). Kuldeep Thakur was arrested at the scene but was later released on bail on the same day. #Gurugram #ROADACCIDENTS
