Israelis have no bounds. If they do this to a US Congressman, imagine what they do to innocent Palestinians with no power. This is obvious apartheid!! Why are we being forced to finance these atrocities?!
Ro Khanna@RoKhanna
Israeli settlers, brandishing American made M4s, detained me & other Americans on my trip to Palestine. When the IDF arrived, they sided with the settlers & continued our detention. They made a huge mistake. You will be hearing more soon. nytimes.com/2026/07/11/us/…

MUST READ!
Congressman @RoKhanna after visiting Israel and Palestine:
“In Palestine, I felt first as someone who was brown,” he said. “We really saw the apartheidlike conditions, the inequality.”
He added: “No American would support this if they knew the details of what was going on here.”

Stunning account of how armed Israeli settlers harassed and effectively held US Congressman @RoKhanna for 90 min. When Israeli soldiers showed up, Khanna thought they would help release him. Instead, they helped the settlers.
This is what Israel does to the country that arms and finances it.
What he saw in Israel and Palestine only further convinced him to speak out.
“I’m going to go to every corner of America, regardless of whether I run or not, and tell their stories and tell the story of what is happening in the West Bank.”

Hi, Jason. I don't really understand what you're saying, here. Could you maybe be a little more clear?
And let me just clarify some things. I don't have a horse in the race. I don't have any grand assumptions or presuppositions.
I hold very simple and rational positions.
Did Tyler Robinson kill Charlie Kirk? Maybe. I have no idea. I haven't been following it closely enough to formulate a strong stance, and I generally tend towards caution when speaking on matters of great importance. I don't hold any wild thoughts on the topic, and I don't wield any unsubstantiated accusations.
I would caution you not to dictate to me whether or not I am not allowed to hold an opinion on the matter, or to otherwise explain why I shouldn't speak if I haven't satisfied some subjective requirement that meets your satisfaction. It's wearisome. And it's quite ridiculous behavior.
My major concern here is that Kirk’s assassination, in my opinion, is unlikely to be a lone gunman without help or directive. If it is Tyler that pulled the trigger, and that may be, I am unsure why anyone would be opposed to deeply considering why and how, to a degree of scrutiny that is warranted. There is a lot of influence, power, money, and political capital invested here. I will reiterate that I firmly believe in innocent until proven guilty, and I find it quite harrowing that most people seem to reject that basic notion. The tribal mind is unable to consider that if you are ever in such a position, you should truly pray that diligence is done, and that truth is sought with ferocity. I digress.
Like JFK, I would be cautious and have an expectation that something like this has more nuance. Quite often high profile political assassinations culminate in a shared and carefully crafted narrative to guide public perception and protect political interests so as to maintain power structures and control of information. This is fairly basic in terms of understanding US governance. It's in plain sight in many other situations.
That said, I don't trust our government, nor do I trust our justice system. And I truly don't think you should either. They have a track record of lies, deception, and altogether horrible behavior, motivated by greed, lust for power, and money. And this is not exclusive to ours. This is a generality across all of human history.
However, over the last 10 years, I'm not sure how anyone has any faith in anything regarding literally any of our institutions, or individuals, for that matter.
From medicine to law, from the justice department to Congress, from your very neighbor to the president himself.
To refresh your memory on trust and truth: men can become women, they aren't cutting off children's genitals in hospitals, COVID vaccines are safe and effective, and the media is always telling the truth. This may all seem tangential and off topic, but it isn't. Everything, literally everything in our world is completely backwards and upside down. The level of deception is so ridiculous that it staggering the mind. Don't believe your eyes. J6 was an insurrection and we almost lost our whole country because some folks were walking around where they shouldn't, it was mostly peaceful when they burned down the city of Minneapolis, and Derek Chauvin choked Floyd, a model citizen, to death. Right? Justice was served, correct? I think not.
If you have something of substance to say, please do so.
If you see any gaps in my logic, feel free to educate me.
If your singular thought, and be extension your singular approach, is to make vague and incoherent comments, feel free to save yourself the time. Thanks.
God bless.

@Lester_WJAZ @elianayjohnson @nytimes @IraStoll @FreeBeacon Are you that fucking stupid to understand that he doesn’t have to comment at all and that by doing so he’s criticizing the editorial oversight (or lack)? 😆😂🤪

@elianayjohnson @nytimes @IraStoll @FreeBeacon He doesn't have to "distance" the newsroom from the opinion section.
They are different things.

@MSFusionHV @LouisAnslow Your "gut feeling" is not substitute for real data and science--especially when, as you know, you've been so terribly wrong about so many things.
English

@LouisAnslow Plenty of what he says makes sense and is backed by some evidence. Does he stretch some of it? Sure. But I don't know how anyone could see the trends and not be concerned. Social media companies AND parents are both to blame.
