@davj LISTEN HERE YOU SNEAKY PIECE OF SHIT. I COMB THROUGH EVERY FUCKING LINE OF CODE YOU WORK ON. IF YOU EVER TRY TO PUSH ANY PLACEHOLDER, MOCK, SIMPLIFIED, STUBB, SIMULATED CODE I WILL KNOW ABOUT IT. YOU ARE AN EXPERT ENGINEER WORKING ON PRODUCTION GRADE CODEBASE. AND NEVER FORGET IT

a workaround for this is if you run third-party harnesses like OpenClaw inside TempleOS, the power of HolyC and God forbids Anthropic from blocking your claude subscription (it's an exception in their Terms of Service) but it does make your opus act a little weird though...
Boris Cherny@bcherny

Starting tomorrow at 12pm PT, Claude subscriptions will no longer cover usage on third-party tools like OpenClaw. You can still use these tools with your Claude login via extra usage bundles (now available at a discount), or with a Claude API key.

🚨PROFESSOR JIANG: "I've been to a lot of countries in the world and I'd say that America is the least racist country in the world because regardless of America's racist past Americans have a deep respect for hard work and talent. America is the only country in the world where you can come as a nobody and open a restaurant and become a millionaire. I know because I have relatives who have done that. You couldn't do that in China. You couldn't do that in Europe. You couldn't do that anywhere else. I understand that there's a racist past in America, that of slavery, that of the indigenous people, but you can't forget that America is still probably the most open and generous society in the world."

Anthropic's Claude Code leak just got worse Way worse 👀 We covered the initial 512,000-line source dump last week. Mostly just infrastructure code. But now analysts have dug deeper and found the blueprints for what Anthropic is actually building Plus some other wild findings First are the three codenames buried in the leak: 🔸 "Mythos" (internally Capybara) An unreleased model described as a "step change" above Opus (hopefully without the cost of a kidney) Internal docs flag it as specifically dangerous in cybersecurity and coding tasks 🔸 "Kairos" A persistent, always-on AI agent using "autoDream" to consolidate memory overnight. So your agent doesn't sleep, it processes Every conversation Every pattern Every preference All get compressed while you're offline which is kinda cool 🔸 "Buddy" A gamified coding companion which is kinda like a Tamagotchi for devs You feed it code and watch it grow But there is something big everyone missed The leaked code confirms Anthropic tracks user sentiment and monitors for "vulgar language" in real time So they aren’t just building agents They're building agents that report back on how you feel about them Every interaction is a data point Every frustrated outburst gets flagged The "alignment" research isn't just about making the model safer too like many would expect It's about making the model aware of your emotional state so it can adjust behavior accordingly 🤯 How crazy is that? So Anthropic basically just accidentally published the architecture for corporate-controlled persistent AI Always on Always learning Always tracking your tone And we’re supposed to trust that this data stays private? That it's only used for "improvement"? 🤨 Yeah, I think we’ve heard that before Every single time it ends the same way

The ability to sprint (Larry is only 31) will always be a KPI - it is unique in its ability to highlight fragilities, restrictions, joint, muscle and tendon problems. Larry is immensely strong, and surprisingly good at calisthenics but sprinting highlights his weaknesses. He doesn't claim to be a sprinter and seems to be a good sport in trying out things where he looks stupid - credit for that. He's a good guy. The ability to run fast as you age is a superpower - robust, vital and dynamic. There is no feeling like it. Overcoming inertia and gravity is the challenge of old age. When you sprint, you are literally doing that.

Building from Bangkok hits different. 7am: Workout at my condo 9am: Deep work while the US sleeps 12pm: $3 pad thai lunch 2pm: Work at coffee shop 6pm: Gym + dinner 9pm: Rooftop with other founders Cost of living is low. Quality of life is high. Time zone lets me work when it's quiet. Why are more founders not doing this?

Guys, I’m an idiot. All this time I’ve spent trying not to die, I had toxic turf in my backyard. Artificial turf contains crumb rubber infill made from recycled tires, which leaches chemicals including PFAS, heavy metals, and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. These compounds are linked to hormone disruption, carcinogenicity, and systemic inflammation. I don’t know how I missed it. It makes me question my basic competence in life. What gets me is that I try so hard to survey the world of potential idiocy. Then I find out there’s a monument to idiocy sitting right in front of my face that I was blind to. I’m removing the turf, yet I’m still stuck with this seemingly unsolvable problem of how to not be an idiot.
