“In Nigeria, corruption has become almost epidemic , to the extent that it seems to consume every part of society. The NNPC reportedly spent huge sums boosting this post to 3.4 million views. Money used for this kind of promotion could instead have funded something far more meaningful, such as building a clinic in Port Harcourt” ~Dr.David Nyekorach -Matsanga 8.04.2026 @engrICO2015

TROOPS OF OPERATION ENDURING PEACE BUST ILLEGAL ARMS MANUFACTURING FACTORIES, ARREST SUSPECTS AND RECOVER CACHE OF ARMS IN PLATEAU STATE Troops of Quick Response Force (QRF), Operation ENDURING PEACE on Thursday, 7 May 2026, successfully busted 2 illegal arms manufacturing factories in Vom, Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State. The well coordinated raid operation was part of the ongoing efforts by Operation ENDURING PEACE aimed at cutting off the supply chain of illicit firearms and safe guarding of law abiding citizens within its Joint Operations Area (JOA). The operation which was the result of a highly intensified, comprehensive human intelligence gathering and strategic surveillance led to the discovery of 2 illegal arms manufacturing sites. During the precision operation, troops arrested 5 suspects caught in the act of fabricating lethal weapons. A comprehensive search of the sites led to recovery of significant cache of weaponry and industrial equipment. Items recovered include, 9 fabricated AK 47 rifles, one locally fabricated pistol, 4 empty AK 47 magazines, 7 skeletal AK 47 rifles and 10 rifle butts. Other items recovered are 36 empty shells of 7.62mm special, 4 revolver engines, 14 recoiling springs, 6 hand drilling machines, 9 filing machines, 4 welding machines and assorted industrial equipment. Suspects and recovered items are currently in custody for further exploitation and detailed investigation. While troops are currently consolidating the ongoing covert operation in order to mop-up the remnants of arms and ammunition already in circulation, Operation ENDURING PEACE appreciates the support of the citizenry and urged them to be more vigilant and report suspicious activities of criminal elements to security agencies. OFFICIAL: Aurélien Tchouaméni My attention has been drawn to the statement Federico Valverde released an hour ago, where he claimed that he was not beaten by me and that he accidentally hit himself. I want to categorically state that this is not true. I beat him mercilessly, and he had to be rushed to the hospital. I want to apologize to the club, my teammates, and our fans. I hope this will not happen again, but if he tries me next time, I will remove his teeth.

On May 5th, 2026, grief returned again… just 20 miles south of Jos in Plateau State. At least six more lives were taken And the pain cuts even deeper knowing this happened only hours after five others were laid to rest from a similar attack in the same land… the same soil soaked with tears How does a place bury its dead in the morning and receive more bodies by evening? How does sorrow not break a people completely? What should never be normal has become routine Bloodshed has become a daily story here And hearts are growing weary from carrying so much pain

“My 14-year-old brother went missing in 2023 and we later got a call that he was at the police station. When we got there, he told us he was picked up during a police raid alongside other people. Everyone arrested with him was released except him. Since then, he has been in Kirikiri Medium Prison, Mile 2, going to court over a case the police officer himself testified he committed no offense in. Yet the case keeps getting adjourned again and again since 2023. They asked us to provide ₦150,000 for bail, but we cannot afford it. My brother was just a child when this started, and he will be turning 17 soon. Please, we are begging the authorities and anyone who can help to please intervene and help release my brother.” — Lady pleads

Oba Yoruba of Awka, Anambra State. Yes, same Yorubas that attacked Eze Ndigbo in Yoruba states has Yoruba Obas across Igbo states. They went further to incite Ghana and South Africans against Eze Ndigbo in their countries. Envious & petty people. Video is from Adedeji Odulesi.

NBA NEC DEMANDS INVESTIGATION INTO ALLEGED HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS BY “TIGER BASE” POLICE UNIT IN OWERRI The National Executive Council (NEC) of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), at its meeting held on Thursday, 7 May 2026 in Awka, Anambra State, adopted a resolution demanding an immediate, transparent, and independent investigation into allegations of gross human rights violations by the anti-kidnapping unit of the Imo State Police Command popularly known as “Tiger Base.” NEC noted disturbing reports by credible human rights organisations alleging that operatives of the unit have been involved in acts including extrajudicial executions, torture, extortion, and arbitrary detention of citizens. The Council expressed grave concern over reports suggesting that repeated calls for intervention and accountability regarding the activities of the unit have not received adequate response from relevant authorities. NEC emphasized that if established, such conduct constitutes serious violations of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, particularly the rights to life, dignity of the human person, personal liberty, and fair hearing. The Council reiterated the NBA’s position that no law enforcement agency or security outfit operates above the law and that allegations of abuse by security personnel must be investigated thoroughly and transparently. NEC therefore called on the Nigeria Police Force and relevant oversight institutions to immediately conduct an independent investigation into the allegations with a view to identifying and prosecuting all persons found culpable. The Council further stressed that accountability, transparency, and adherence to human rights standards remain indispensable to restoring public confidence in law enforcement institutions.

This Igbo man is not playing with Igbo language and culture. I believe he has a lot of knowledge in Igbo history. He should document all his ideas and better still write a book 📕 so that generations to come will learn from him. I LOVE IGBO LANGUAGE ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
