💕 Last Friday, we came together to learn & take action for breast health at a class & healthy cooking demo with @kpgreatersac, @TweetABCF & @SacLFCC! Dr. De Young shared essential info about breast cancer & early detection, plus referrals for free screenings were offered.

Yesterday, we were so excited to partner with @KPGreaterSac and @TweetABCF for a @SacLFCC Wellness Wednesday! It included a breast health presentation by Dr. Claudia De Young, cancer-prevention cooking demos with take-home meal kits, & referrals for free breast cancer screenings.

Thanks to @RepJimmyPanetta, @RepSteel, @RepThompson, @RepJimmyGomez, @RepLindaSanchez, & @RepJudyChu, @WaysandMeansGOP @WaysMeansCmte Congress can improve access to the latest cancer detection tools. We’re counting on leadership in both parties to prioritize HR 2407 #MCEDAct

The @WaysandMeansGOP/@WaysMeansCmte has announced a markup to advance HR 2407. This is a huge step in the right direction for coverage of #MCED test.

Early cancer detection saves lives, especially for LGBTQ+ individuals who face higher cancer risks. This is one of the many reasons why Congress must allow Medicare coverage of #MCED tests. Thank you @RepRaulRuizMD for your leadership and support of HR 2407. Let’s pass this bill!
