✅ @Apple has rolled out a software fix to address a flaw that stored notifications marked for deletion on the device. This vulnerability allowed the @FBI to read deleted messages in @signalapp. The update comes weeks after it was revealed that the agency managed to forensically extract copies of incoming #Signal messages from a defendant’s iPhone in connection with an attack on the Prairieland ICE detention center facility. This was possible even after the app had been deleted, by exploiting the fact that copies of message content were stored in the device’s push notification database. Signal’s developers thanked Apple for its “quick action and for understanding and acting on the stakes of this kind of issue.”

💰A new post from @SBF_FTX’s X account claims that if #FTX’s lawyers had not “liquidated” key exchange assets following its collapse, their combined value would have reached approximately $114B as of April 22, 2026. It outlines six major holdings: @AnthropicAI valued at $82.3B, @SpaceX at $15B, @solana at $5.1B, @RobinhoodApp at $4.9B, @genn_digital at $3.5B, and @Cursor at $3B.

🛠️ @0xfluid has launched $aWETH repayment feature, addressing liquidation risks and deposit outflows from Aave in the aftermath of the @KelpDAO exploit. According to @castle_labs, Fluid processed 166,722 $aETH, approximately $400M, through its redemption protocol in just two days. Fluid’s Lite Vault held $wstETH as collateral against $ETH-denominated debt on #Aave, thereby creating inverted positions that directly matched users who were stuck on Aave. As a result, users could hand over their $ETH collateral and receive $wstETH or $weETH in return, without requiring Aave’s frozen pools to take any action. The redemption discount was 2.2%. For comparison, on secondary markets, aWETH traded at a discount of up to 23%, according to Castle Labs.

📉 @aave’s total deposits have dropped below the $30B mark. Following the @KelpDAO $rsETH vulnerability incident, the platform’s total supplied funds declined from $45.8B to $29.6B. The cumulative outflow during this period reached $16.2B, wiping out more than one-third of the platform’s total deposits. According to @EmberCN, the primary cross-chain swap tool used was @THORChain: the platform recorded approximately $800M in trading volume and generated around $910,000 in fees.

⚙️ Adult website @Pornhub is no longer accepting @tether’s $USDT for payouts and is now switching to @circle-issued $USDC instead. According to content creators, they have received emails stating that the platform made the change in order to make payouts “more reliable.” The message also added that “USDC is a fully backed, MiCA-compliant and regulated stablecoin, making it a more secure option for your earnings.” The #stablecoin issued by #Tether still clearly leads the segment by market capitalization, ahead of #Circle’s #crypto asset, at $188.8B compared to $78B. $USDT also substantially outperforms $USDC in terms of active addresses, with 33.5M versus 15.4M.
