Trivial ramblings by some guy from Edmonton.

Philip Larsen has announced his retirement from professional hockey. From Esbjerg, Denmark, Philip was selected by the @DallasStars in the 2008 @NHL Entry Draft and would make his NHL debut one season later on April 4, 2010, recording his first point just two days later. Philip scored his first NHL goal on January 12, 2012, on the road against the Minnesota Wild. After playing with the @EdmontonOilers for the 2013-14 NHL season, Philip played the following two seasons in Europe before returning to the NHL for the 2016-17 season with the Vancouver @Canucks. Philip returned to play in Europe for the next nine seasons, including four seasons with his hometown team in Esbjerg, serving the last two seasons as team captain. Philip proudly represented his country on the international stage, appearing in 40 games at the Men’s World Championships for Denmark. Welcome to the NHL Alumni Association, Philip!

A full season of Jay Woodcroft produced one 60+ goal scorer, one 50+ goal scorer, two 30+ goal scorers, and NINE 10+ goal scorers. Knoblauch this season will likely finish with two 40+ goal scorers, one 30+ goal scorer, two 20+ goal scorers, and four 10+ goal scorers. 🤔
