@souvenirtities Demi’s show was 2009-2010. Both Hannah and Wizards were on during that time. Shake it up didn’t start till the end of 2010, Jessie not until end of 2011.
Also, Demi’s in the same age group as Selena & Miley and appeared in more projects with them, than she did with the others.
English

Demi’s show sits more with Shake It Up and Jessie not with Hannah or Wizards

@ImpunityCity They are obsessed with Sammy. But silent anytime someone gets harmed in the subway or buses.

Two way bike lanes killed Priscilla Loke and Theresa Valenti
This news blog that wrote thousands of stories about Sammy Cohen, a child who ran into the street without looking that led to laws bringing down speed limits is fine with two way bike lanes that will be dominated by ebikes that killed two women.
You would think they would demand a halt to this redesign but the "livable streets movement" they are solely dedicated in reporting about don't think the lives of Priscilla Loke and Theresa Valenti matter.
And it's shockingly clear @NYCMayor @NYC_DOT and fucking @Transalt don't think their lives matter either. Because the world cup is more important that they have to rush this dangerous redesign on the public with no community input
This is the streets master plan, where the streets are made for two wheels and a battery over people.

The city will turn an existing northbound protected bike lane between Union Square and Prince Street into a two-way cycle track, finally creating a protected north-south bike network between the Brooklyn Bridge and the Flatiron District. nyc.streetsblog.org/2026/03/24/dot…

@Jamesshaun002 @DisneySchedules I wonder too. Actually, Hannah Montana was airing episodes in 4:3 up until March 2010. Other shows such as Wizards and Suite Life also were 4:3 until Sept 2009. I’m really surprised they never modernized sooner.
English

@DisneySchedules Why did they shoot 4:3 in 2006, when nearly all shows in 2006 was 16.9
English

Okay, the episode "Achy Jakey Heart Part 1" aired in 4:3, but the other two "Lily, Do You Want to Know a Secret?, When You Wish You Were the Star, Achey Jakey Heart Part 2"were oddly enough stretched to 16:9.

Disney Schedule Archive@DisneySchedules
And as promised, Disney Channel is currently airing Hannah Montana.... albeit the earlier episodes are in the wrong aspect ratio.
English

@DisneySchedules haha i’m glad someone else noticed this! I was watching and all of a sudden, Achy Jakey Heart Part 2 looked so strange. I also saw the giant “TV G” watermark and such too, I just thought they were playing a very old copy of the episode not optimized for modern day.

@StreetsblogNYC Summer streets are not fun for MTA express bus riders, who are “doing the right thing” and taking public transit, but are forced to sit in traffic while the bus reroutes, all bc u close a major street. Every summer weekend taking the bus to manhattan used to be a nightmare for me
English

Could a good thing be made even better? More than two dozen current and former elected officials across all levels of government think so. nyc.streetsblog.org/2026/03/23/nyc…

@LiberalHegemony Biden voluntarily decided to stop buying Oil from Russia during the start of the Ukraine war. Which drove up the price. He even took the blame in a press conference in Feb or Mar 2022.
English

Gas spiked under Biden due to the pandemic and Trump’s horrible oil deals the destroyed domestic production. Despite not being able to point to a single Biden policy, MAGA still blamed him. Now, we have $7.00 gas directly attributable to Trump and they are completely silent.

@humantransit Is more transit riders, but not adding any more buses or trains to the schedule, a good thing?
Also there is definitely more traffic now on outer borough highways in the last year and a half
English

New York: The (de)congestion pricing zone in lower Manhattan is having benefits far outside Manhattan: More transit ridership, and less traffic.
Asad🗽🍎@AsadFromNYC
Congestion pricing works: "Ridership grew from 1.21 billion in 2024 to nearly 1.3 billion riders in 2025, a 7.7% increase. Most of the 39 stations that saw a more than 20% increase were outside Manhattan." ny1.com/nyc/all-boroug…

@gotrice2024 the lengths people go to for free food, that would normally only cost a few dollars anyway, is insane. If it’s easy to get to and theres no line, i don’t mind doing it. But never will I wait 1 hour on a line to save $10 on food.
English

Chipotle announced they were having a buy one get one free deal between 3p-4p for a day. People started lining p around 2:00 to participate in the promotion. At about 2:40pm the manager at the Bronx chipotle shut down the store and did not open again until 4p.
The manager then told the people who have been waiting in line for 2 hours that the promotion was over and they were not doing the buy one get one deal. What’s messed up is they knew they weren’t going to participate yet they did not tell anyone nor did they have a sign saying they weren’t doing it either. Since the kids have been waiting there patiently, shouldn’t they honor it anyways?
English

@CompletedStreet nah, some of the transit advocates in NYC, do in fact want to take your cars away (or purposely make it very expensive to own one). Look at what groups such as TransAlt, MicromobilityNYC, Streetsblog, and similar have to say.
English

We didn't want to take your cars. We just wanted to give you other options.

@cxgonzalez Could have their own business or some kind of job with flexible or asynchronous hours. Or just have a different shift. My shift didn’t start till 5pm for years, now it starts at 2pm. So i’m one of those people going to the gym at 11am and “not at work”.
English

@mikeybat24 @LinkofSunshine Brooklyn is most convenient getting to lower manhattan.
Also people tend to move where other ppl they know are living. So if all your friends live in brooklyn and ur familiar with it, and you know nobody in other areas or anything about it, chances are you will move to brooklyn
English

@LinkofSunshine Why is it always Brooklyn? Why not queens. The Bronx. Harlem or the heights. Or staten island ? Or even right over the border in long island or westchester? There’s other parts of the city and other parts that are close enough, than just Brooklyn
English

@PhilSustainable Most of them still pay NYC income tax (and sometimes property tax). Thats what mainly funds roads. As for car state registration fees, those aren’t very high anyway. The main one hurting is the private insurance companies (which should I care about or sympathize for them?)
English

You pay NYC taxes. They don’t.
Yet their out-of-state cars sit in free Brooklyn parking all week, while we’re stuck in traffic on a bus.
We’re not just subsidizing freeloaders. We’re paying to store their cars for free. Pay #NYC taxes and pay for parking.

English

@polydaic @Streetfilms @StreetsblogNYC It doesn’t. These people want us to become to their way of living. Make us priced out of our cars to the point we must take public transit, but then change absolutely nothing about it, and then yell at us “why are you so unhappy with our mediocre transit?”
English

@Streetfilms @StreetsblogNYC How does parking fees increase safety you can’t pay your way to Japanese society
English

For the NYC people going apoplectic about charging for street parking and saying idiotic stuff like "no one charges for parking" or "that's not done anywhere else in the U.S." well Boston, DC, SF and others would like to have a word with you. It's common.
We could go even further! Here's what you need to own/park a car in Japan! @StreetsblogNYC @OpenPlans @bfurnas @Boenau @Komanoff @jonorcutt @BobaCyclist @RegionalPlan @NYCMayor @NYC_DOT
English

@Streetfilms @polydaic @StreetsblogNYC Yeah, like congestion pricing was supposed to pay for improvements. Still waiting on that.
The top issues for most riders are- clean, safety, and frequency/reliability. Focus on those. If you used this money to actually clean the subway and make it safer, ppl would complain less
English

@polydaic @StreetsblogNYC Nah. Parking fees will help pay for transit improvements.
English

@Streetfilms Why is this a good thing? Basically the video said that middle class used to own cars, but were priced out and had to get rid of it. Turning it into a mostly rich ppl thing.
Why do you want to make peoples lives miserable? Many enjoy their cars.
English

@DeltaDaddy42069 @ive_arc maybe not phone numbers, but i’ve found people on social media based off of their named on their drivers license, and contacted them that way.
English

@alex_velovelo1 @Streetfilms if you weren’t so afraid that what i’ve been saying is true, then there would be no need for that
