@levelsio Literally everyone hates 5.0.
4.0 was so much better it’s not even funny. I pay almost $230 a month for Sam to rip 4.0 away from me without warning?
I am done!

@DazMSmith @Arfness I don't think I've ever interacted with this idiot on here but seems I'm also blocked 🤷♂️
English

@nikillinit Yeah full millennial here and haven't carried a wallet in a long time... Keep a couple of emergency notes and my drivers licence tucked in the phone cover and that's it
English

@MandlaNotyawa @sthembete I imagine CC will have to decide that. I can't imagine them deciding to allow NA to be held to ransom by a minority party though...
English

@sthembete The question then becomes when is parliament is constituted? Is it when members are sworn in, or when the results are declared?
English

@mouse_math @crymeariver6666 No, but it might give your constantly bombarded brain a break to try and see the everyday good in the people around you. It really isn't a bad idea. I think I might try it too at some point...

@GinaMeintjes @MarkSham @Our_DA Voting for a party doesn't mean they shouldn't try and be better. I hate this "overwhelming mandate" talk. People will vote for a party they disagree with in many ways because there are just no good alternatives... DA is a grudge vote for many.

Some advice to @Our_DA. If you do manage to form some kind of coalition with the ANC, now would be a really good time to tighten up your tone and language. You are not some national saviour and the future of this country doesn't hinge on you "rescuing" us. A bit more tact and humility would go a long way as you continue the journey of being "public servants".
The ANC seem to have accepted their fate with dignity and humility, so now would be a good time for you to drop your smug tone and play ball for the greater good of all South Africans.
Whether you like it or not, a lot of people in this country perceive you to be arrogant and disconnected from the average South African lived experience. You can either moan and complain about being "judged by a different standard" or you can just acknowledge that this is somewhat induced by your own actions.
I'm sharing this with you as a passionate South African that wants to see this country fulfil its true potential. I am not a DA hater and I think you do many things well, but humbling yourself in patches and listening to people's criticism has not been your strong point.
I know you will say that if you bow down to everyone's opinion then you will never be able to pick a direction to run in, and I get that, but there's some common denominator points that people are making about you on all ends that you refuse to listen to.
Finally, I really hope you and the ANC can figure out a way to take this country forward. We need economic growth more than anything. We need government to create the necessary conditions for the private sector to grow. We also need government to keep capitalism in check. Ultimately, we need government to be a referee on the pitch without being a player on the field.
South Africa needs the many politicians to put this country first. Best of luck, I think you're all going to need it.

@feedthejim Is revalidation improved/changed at all? Even with the debug flag it's a bit of a black box as to what's happening
English

@sportsandcraft @deedydas I mean both gdb and sama quote tweeted and heaped praise on the (Indian) guy who led GPT4o development in the last 24 hours right here on this exact platform and people are having a hard time guessing?
English

@tombielecki @goodside You can see in the first screenshot that it added it to its memory
English

@steventey @vercel @nextjs Maybe path and tag revalidation that actually works reliably with app router? 🤞

@LaprasIRL @johnvmcdonnell @SharpeMartha Google says it will take less than 14 days to drive the 23131 kilometres to Magadan from my house in Cape Town 🤣
English

@johnvmcdonnell @SharpeMartha There's not even a car ferry. Driving the Pan-American Highway on the same vehicle means shipping it from Panama to Colombia and traveling separately to pick it up.
I think the real answer is Cape Town to Magadan, nearly the full length of Africa + Asia.
English

@mattpocockuk Yeah this seems like not worth anyone's time to continually agonize over...

Are we back on this again?

@NevenaSofranic To answer my own question I suppose advice and therapy are two very different things
English

@NevenaSofranic I certainly don't think these things should be marketed as therapy tools - but in a lot of cases asking advice from an AI chatbot might be better than their normal "therapist" aka "Phil the bartender"?
*As long as the AI caveats that its advice might be just as shite as Phil's
