This is me and my buddy Andrew. He was busy putting me through my paces last night as a Tesco delivery driver! Every penny I earn from my additional job is going straight to my mortgage, stocks and shares ISA and pension. No lifestyle creep. Let's break it down; Wages earned per 4 week pay cycle - £912 Tax - £182.40 Pension contribution - £68.40 (7.5%, with a Tesco match of 7.5%!) Other deductions (NI, union etc) - £100 Mortgage payment - £300 This leaves around £250 then to go straight into vanguard stocks and Shares ISA every single month. It's not a fortune but it's life changing! 5 year goal - mortgage cleared. 15 year goal - retired at 59 with a sizable nest egg. Let's go 🔥

I’m not a very religious person, but on Easter I chose to go to church by myself because I had a lot on my mind. I prayed during church that my grandma would never suffer anymore and all my financial burdens would be lifted. A month later my grandma passed away, and then a week later, all of my spirit airlines posts and news interviews started happening. Spoke with a retiree in NYC the other day He retired from teaching in his early 60s Pension: ~$100k per year Investment portfolio: ~$1M The pension came with the job The investment portfolio came with the long-term mindset

There ain't no way to spin this one. This was a very rough week for the market, $BTC, and my portfolio. But bad weeks don't wreck a portfolio. Panic selling and emotions wreck a portfolio. Just remember to breathe and know that next week has a great chance to be better.

What a brutal day on the Street... Do I sell now that my portfolio is down >$1000 this week? That is actually my signal to buy the dip. I always keep a little powder dry for these situations.

I like it, but that heavy in single stocks scares me, unless this is just your play money. If it's your true blue investing for retirement, then I would add a good etf (I like $VOO) and go heavy - at least 50% of my portfolio. I love to FAFO, but not when it comes to retirement.
