@DrakeFantasy Why do people always think winning a championship in sports is the only way to provide value? Him putting on that uniform and his name/image/likeness (nil) attached to the university was well worth the investment I bet

BYU paid $7 million to AJ Dybantsa. He led the nation in scoring. Cool. They finished 10th in the Big 12 and were a 6-seed in the NCAA Tournament after losing a key guard to injury. They lost to an 11-seed Texas team that finished 10th in the SEC. Is that NIL $ well spent?

I seriously need some help here. My neighbor just put up this massive metal fence right along our property line and I’m honestly pretty upset about it. It completely changed the whole feel of my driveway and now it looks like I’m pulling into some kind of industrial corridor. I had no idea this was even happening until the thing was already built. It feels like my space just got boxed in overnight. What on earth can I do in a situation like this???

I bought an 85" Sony Bravia from @BestBuy on March 1st. Delivery took 12 days. Now mounting has been delayed another week and just got cancelled again via email. I've been lied to and given the runaround by at least 5 different employees. A @BestBuySupport agent on X even told me to wait until he gets back from vacation to 'fix' it. I spoke with someone from 'corporate' this morning who told me she has to investigate and will possibly get back to me tomorrow. @BestBuy doesn't seem to care and refuses to actually mount the TV. @BestBuySupport help? This is unacceptable for a big purchase. Here's a picture of the TV in the box sitting in my living room.

@craigconover Narcissists generally lack consistent empathy, but they possess "cognitive empathy"—the ability to understand emotions intellectually to manipulate or charm—rather than "emotional empathy" (feeling what others feel).

25 mistakes that are LOSING you games in College Football 26 1) Holding turbo as soon as you get the handoff — you can't cut behind the line with turbo held down. Left stick only until you see open grass 2) Making PREDETERMINED reads — deciding before the snap "I'm throwing my tight end no matter what" and forcing it into coverage 3) Calling plays from Coach Suggestions instead of the Formation tab — you'll never build a real scheme picking random plays you haven't repped 4) Never throwing the ball away — not every play has to be a completion. Click the right stick in and live to see the next down 5) Usering a defender in an area you already have help — if you have hard flats on the field, why is your user also covering the flat? You're doubling one zone and leaving another wide open 6) Getting caught in the MUSH on run defense — your user runs straight downhill into the offensive line and does absolutely nothing. Flow to the ball instead 7) Not blocking your halfback or tight end against blitz — you see a heavy pressure look and just snap it anyway with no protection adjustments. Block somebody 8) Staring at receivers instead of reading AREAS of the field — you should be checking the area a route is attacking, not locking your eyes on one guy 9) Tapping right trigger in the pocket — this triggers offensive line sheds FASTER. You're literally speeding up the pass rush on yourself 10) Walking straight backwards in the pocket every single play — sometimes stepping up or drifting laterally is what keeps you alive. Move AWAY from where the pressure is coming 11) Running play action without knowing the risk — PA plays can lock you into slow animations that get you sacked. If you're not canceling PA (tap RT/R2) or blocking the HB, you're asking for trouble 12) Picking players based on overall rating instead of SPEED — a 76 overall WR with 97 speed will cook every single game. A 90 overall with 85 speed gets hawked down by linebackers 13) Usering a defensive lineman — your user should be a second level defender or a high safety, never someone on the line of scrimmage 14) Not pass leading your throws — just hitting the receiver icon without using the left stick to place the ball away from defenders. This is the difference between a TD and a pick 15) Not looking at the defense pre-snap — you don't even glance at the box before snapping it. Is it a blitz? Man? Zone? You should be asking these questions every single play 16) Guessing run when it's a pass — guess pass has a real purpose. Guess run left, right, and up the middle are basically broken. Stop using them 17) Shading underneath in Cover Zero — you shade underneath and your corners back off. Now they're giving up EASY one-play touchdowns because nobody is pressed 18) Running Cover Zero blitzes where your rushers are 10 yards away from the QB — if your blitz can't get there fast, your DBs can't hold up with no safety help. Show blitz (RB/R1 + RB/R1) to close that gap 19) Usering the mid read in Tampa 2 and not dropping back — if you user that mid read zone and just sit underneath, nobody covers the deep seam. That's a one-play TD on you 20) Never checking your run blocking paths pre-snap — hold LT/L2 and push the right stick left to see exactly who's blocking who and where gaps are. Most people skip this entirely 21) Clicking on to defend one-on-one deep balls — your CPU defender will usually play these better than you. Let him work. If you click on, you're probably giving up the catch 22) Not using the PLAYMAKER mechanic — holding LT/L2 and flicking the right stick to redirect a receiver mid-play is one of the most underused tools in the game against zone coverage 23) Leaving contains on your defensive ends when you need pass rush — contains are great for stopping rollouts but they will NEVER generate pressure on a pocket QB. Left on D-Pad + Down on Right Stick to remove them 24) Keeping option defense settings on default — change your Option Read Key and RPO Read Key to Conservative so defenders focus on the QB. Otherwise you're giving up free keeper runs all game 25) Not having a read progression — you need a first read, a second read, and a third read. If your first read isn't there, MOVE YOUR EYES. The defense will win some plays. That's football. Move on to the next read Hopefully this was helpful! Feel free to bookmark this for later Follow me @MisterCiv for more content like this!

Banks won't give an 18 year old a mortgage to buy a rental property But they will give that same 18 year old $200,000 to pay for a degree The rental property is guaranteed to go up over time The student may never work in the field they studied

The last time the Dolphins had multiple 1st-round picks they took: (2020) • Tua Tagovailoa • Austin Jackson • Noah Igbinoghene (2021) • Jaelan Phillips • Jaylen Waddle Only one of them is still on the roster. Now Miami heads into the 2026 draft with TWO 1st-round picks… 👀 History repeating or a chance to get it right?

@MoveTheSticks Next years 1 isn’t enough for AJ. Thats really a 2, and presumably a very low 2. Also to trade up to get Love, it would most likely take a 27 first too.

If Malik Willis is great, and Dolphins have a very high pick, they have delicious options: trade down to a QB-needy team, move down a spot and draft future Hall of Fame WR Jeremiah Smith and collect extra picks. Or, obviously, trade Willis. Or keep both QBs for 1 yr.

My friend was offered a salary of 300,000, a good hike over his previous 200,000 He took it & joined next Monday without even giving a notice in his previous company On Friday, when he bid goodbye to a co-worker & told them to have a good weekend The co-worker laughed at his face & said, 'We work 6 days a week' He was shocked, went home, did not show up on Saturday & did not pick any calls Finally, he came back to office on Monday, to his old office He told then that he had an emergency at home, that's why he was missing for a week Lesson: Be keen when you are joining a new job. Maybe the new employer is worse than your current one
