@BitcoinPierre @SenatorHick Pierre, Many a times a will look at the early PRs you made regarding Bitcoin. They bring me hope and joy. You are an absolute legend and there is no doubt about it. But recently, I’ve noticed somewhat of a partisan shift. ~ Love, Phoenix

IT’S OVER. Satoshi’s bitcoin is dead! If you are not asking yourself why Wall Street bitcoin executives, bitcoin OGs, bitcoin YouTube influencers, bitcoin miners, bitcoin pool operators, CEO’s of bitcoin treasury companies, bitcoin exchanges, bitcoin wallet providers, bitcoin educators and other so-called bitcoin proponents in high places, are not actively supporting AND promoting BIP-110, then you have your head in the sand. Many bottom lines will suffer and there will be no going back. It’s time to call out these complacent individuals who are either motivated by greed or who prefer to sit on the fence so not to offend any one group. The reality is that bitcoin is rapidly losing the anti-fragile status that Satoshi intended. This must change! It’s really quite simple. When the foundation to a house is weak, it eventually collapses. This is what is happening to bitcoin in real time. The foundational principles of bitcoin have been intentionally weakened by Bitcoin Core developers. These developers have lost sight of Satoshi’s vision and have embraced a pathetic ideology with no respect for Satoshi’s solution to a monetary problem that has plagued the world since the beginning of time. Bitcoin is not all things to all people. Bitcoin is money. . . period. Over the last 90 days over 45 percent of the transactions embedded in the bitcoin blockchain were non-monetary. This ongoing promotion of spam by Bitcoin Core developers ensures that bitcoin will not last at this rate of decay. If this is what you support, you are part of the problem. If you have any integrity at all, you will fight back by learning about the problem bitcoin solves @satsvsfiat, how to buy and real bitcoin, secure it in cold storage with an air-gapped signing device, and reduce spam on the bitcoin blockchain by running your own Bitcoin Knots node signaling for BIP-110. You should also consider taking it to the next level by renting hash power using tools like @braiins and point your hash to your node using DATUM gateway. Mining and building your own block templates should be your goal if you want to keep bitcoin decentralized and secure. This learning curve can be overwhelming for new-comers to bitcoin. However there are few good educators out there like @mattkratter and @thebitcoinway_ who understand the problem bitcoin solves. Take your time with this and be patient. Don’t give up as the rewards will be life changing for you and your heirs. This journey is not for the faint of heart. “Fortune favors the bold.” If you are new to bitcoin, it’s critical that you don’t get sucked up into the narrative that “we need to fix or improve bitcoin.” Bitcoin does not need to be improved; it simply needs to be maintained by a diversified group of functional people who truly understand the problem bitcoin solves. The reality is that bitcoin is imploding before our very eyes. We are all accountable and we need to stop the madness now if we want bitcoin to survive. Get the word out before it’s too late. Encourage those with clout to speak up and ACTIVELY support and promote BIP-110 so we can save this blessing that many are knowingly or unknowingly turning into a curse thru their silence and/or complacency. This could be our final wake-up call. I apologize in advance if I have tagged someone who is actively supporting AND promoting BIP-110. It’s time to make Satoshi smile again. @w_s_bitcoin @niftynei Went from 100% writing my own code a decade ago (all you could do) and within the last year I now only write prompts. Even stopped using an IDE… full circle back to terminal only. Saving so much time I got a second job just to stack more sats. It’s beautiful in a way

@niftynei What percentage of the code that you ship is currently written by agents? And how would you feel if that percentage climbed a lot higher over the coming years?

I’m a public bitcoin maximalist working in a bitcoin-only company, but I’m secretly converting my bitcoin to Monero and can’t talk about that publicly, because I’m captured by my audience and my livelihood depends on it.

Everyone in the world has to take a private vote by pressing a red or blue button. If more than 50% of people press the blue button, everyone survives. If less than 50% of people press the blue button, only people who pressed the red button survive. Which button would you press?

something i've noticed: AI agents create a weird new kind of burnout. esp for young people. a lot of ambitious 22 year olds are going to think the answer is simple: - spin up more agents - ship more code - sleep less - outwork everyone and for a while, it will feel incredible. you can keep multiple agents running, feed them tasks, review outputs, fix mistakes, make decisions, and keep the whole loop moving. the problem is that the work no longer drains you through typing. it drains you through judgment. More attention. More context switching. More verification. More decisions per hour. so instead of 8-10 normal productive hours, you might get 4-5 extremely intense hours before your brain is fully cooked. and you feel numb until you sleep properly and reset some of my friends are already burnt out. they don't say it out loud but i can tell. the agent can keep working 24/7. the human still has a hard limit

10h ago @litecoin experienced a coordinated attack on the chain that resulted in 13 blocks reorg that took more than 3h to generate. During this time attackers were performing double spend attacks on multiple cross-chain swapping protocols. We are investigating the situation.
