1/15 Bitcoin rewrote the rules of asymmetry—small exposure, life-changing upside. Bitcoin treasury companies multiply that principle: they engineer balance sheets so every uptick in BTC detonates a self-reinforcing flywheel of even more Bitcoin. That’s asymmetry raised to the second power. Bitcoin treasury companies are the asymmetry squared.

RFK Jr. starts most mornings with steak for breakfast, a big bowl of grass-fed yogurt topped with cream, and a generous side of sauerkraut or kimchi. Zero carbs. Strict carnivore plus ferments only. He’s been eating this way for about 250 days. He shared on the pod that he was having atrial fibrillation every day for four months. A military doctor reviewed his MRI and saw visceral fat blanketing his heart, liver, and organs — and warned things would worsen. So he committed. After just 30 days on the diet, a follow-up MRI showed 40% less visceral fat. He lost 20 pounds of that hidden fat, then regained it all as muscle. The daily AFib disappeared completely — no skipped beats since. He’s quick to note that it worked powerfully for him, but our metabolisms are all different. It makes you wonder how much of our everyday fatigue or inflammation might quietly trace back to what ends up on the plate. What’s one food you’ve added (or removed) that noticeably shifted how you feel day to day — energy, mood, or anything else?

This is the Bitcoin/Gold chart - currently lowest RSI in history. Bitcoin peaked relative to Gold in Dec 2024. We have been in a ~14 month bear market ever since. Prior major bear markets: - April 2021 to June 2022 = 14 months - Dec 2017 to Feb 2019 = 14 months - Nov 2013 to Jan 2015 = 14 months The current prevailing view seems to be that because we had a Bitcoin all-time-high (in dollars) in Oct 2025, that we are just a few months in to a bear market. But that ATH may have been just because Gold and Silver were ripping, dragging Bitcoin up with them. But when you view Bitcoin in Gold terms (this chart), it tells a very different story. Rather than being early in a bear market, it's quite possible that this is the final chapter of a bear market that actually started 14 months ago. The end of each prior bear market was followed by years of uptrend for Bitcoin. Will this time be different? Currently, any Bitcoin bears are betting this historic low keeps going lower.

Hong Kong: On March 23, 2026, the Hong Kong government changed the implementing rules relating to the National Security Law. It is now a criminal offense to refuse to give the Hong Kong police the passwords or decryption assistance to access all personal electronic devices including cellphones and laptops. This legal change applies to everyone, including U.S. citizens, in Hong Kong, arriving or just transiting Hong Kong International Airport. In addition, the Hong Kong government also has more authority to take and keep any personal devices, as evidence, that they claim are linked to national security offenses. Huge insight here, "This is reflexivity in the "Soros" sense. The act of executing the carry trade improves the conditions for the carry trade to continue. In traditional carry trades, execution eventually exhausts the spread or attracts enough competition to compress it. In STRC's architecture, execution reinforces the spread."

You maxed out your 401(k) for 20 years, built a seven-figure balance, and hit your FIRE number at 42. Then you realized 80% of your net worth is locked behind a wall you can't touch until 59½. I call this the golden handcuffs problem — one of the most common traps in the FIRE community. Retire at 45, need $60K/year, and you need ~$900K in accessible funds to bridge the gap until penalty-free withdrawals kick in. Most people who maxed tax-advantaged accounts don't have that outside their 401(k). There are real loopholes — Rule of 55, 72(t) SEPP, Roth conversion ladders — and I break them all down in FIRE BTC. The Roth ladder is the community favorite, but it needs five years of accessible savings before conversions start paying out. How I structure my savings: grab the employer match, then direct everything else to bitcoin in self-custody. Retirement accounts cover the later years. Everything else stays where I can use it — no age restrictions, no penalties, no gatekeeper between me and my money. Before you max out your 401(k) this year, make sure you're not building a golden cage.

“Why do you care so much about $STRC? 🙄” Idk maybe because Chase is out here paying 0.01% and has the audacity to call that a savings account. And yes, your money market account might offer you 0.5% with the leading HYSAs paying MAYBE 4-5%. Barely keeping up with inflation, how lucrative. Meanwhile STRC: - went up to 11.50% - dividends paid monthly - classified as return of capital - and issued by the largest bitcoin treasury to support the flywheel. JPMorgan has more assets than most countries have GDP and their best savings product rounds down to zero. $STRC could do more for your wealth than your bank ever could.

No, she did not. Her Feb 2022 response called Russia's invasion "indefensible," backed U.S. sanctions on Putin, refugee aid, and congressional approval for any military steps—but supported U.S. involvement and aid to Ukraine (including later military packages). No equivalent formal condemnation of U.S. policy as "unlawful" or "catastrophic."

John Taylor Gatto was named New York State Teacher of the Year. Upon receiving the award, he quit and spent the rest of his life writing devastating critiques of the educational system he had mastered. Gatto argued that regardless of the official curriculum, schools actually teach seven hidden lessons. The first is confusion. Students learn disconnected facts across dozens of subjects with no integration or meaning. The second is class position. Students learn their place in the social hierarchy. The third is indifference. Students learn that nothing is worth finishing because the bell always rings. The fourth is emotional dependency. Students learn to surrender their will to a chain of command. The fifth is intellectual dependency. Students learn to wait for experts to tell them what to think. The sixth is provisional self-esteem. Students learn that their worth depends on expert evaluation. The seventh is that they are always being watched and have no privacy. These lessons, Gatto argued, are the actual function of schooling. The explicit curriculum of reading, writing, and arithmetic is almost incidental. The real purpose is to produce passive, dependent, compliant citizens who wait for authorities to tell them what to do and think. Trad schooling amounts to thirteen years of training in being passive and dependent. I have seen this play out with hundreds of students. When I created Montessori middle schools in the San Francisco Bay Area, about half the students came up through Montessori elementary and about half came from public schools. When we opened, the Montessori kids immediately began doing their work, taking initiative, choosing what to tackle first. The public school students were lost. They would stare at their desks until we walked over and helped them plan their morning. It took at least a semester, sometimes a full year, before they could function in an environment that asked them to direct their own learning. These were not less intelligent children. They had simply been trained differently. For years, someone else had made all the decisions about what they would do, when they would do it, and how they would do it. When that structure was removed, they did not know how to operate. Agency is natural to children unless we train it out of them. When I coach parents on evaluating their children's education, I tell them to ignore grades entirely. The question is whether their children are taking initiative, being responsible, and becoming empowered moral beings. If a child is getting straight A's but has no initiative and no sense of personal responsibility, that child is being damaged by their education regardless of how it looks on paper.
