@Jenjjlove1 Years ago I was on several meds for FMS and I think I remember being itchy. Call your pharmacist. They might be able to recommend something to help.
@dagenmcdowell If the US continues to buy oil from Russia, we are telling Ukraine that we are with you. (Unless it causes us the slightest discomfort, inconvenience, added cost.) It is wrong.
Russia started deploying additional forces in significant numbers near Ukraine in early March 2021. Five months later, Biden Inc. was begging Russia/OPEC+ to pump more oil, while trying to crush US oil production. Enriching, empowering, emboldening Putin. Green? Try blood red.
@national_pain I wonder hiw long it will take for the states that enacted very drastic restrictions in use of opiates for pain to reverse those laws. Or the hospitals that are promoting "zero opiates" in all wards.
🔥🔥🔥ATTN People with #Pain and their providers.
The Updated CDC Clinical Guideline for Prescribing Opioids has been published in the Federal Register this morning. 60 day comment period.

@AngieSanchezss@FoxNews It is not an Overdose. They were poisoned, If supplied with a Safe supply, it would be.a story they're laughing about in 30 years
@AngieSanchezss@FoxNews I saw the same thing and my reaction was similar. I guess the people who do the slides realized that the street stuff doesn't come with pretty labels. The Rx 's are a better visual, but so wrong! No matter what news person is saying, the visuals imprint on people's brains.
@LizHolland1976 I haven't read it yet, but it sounds promising. Sounds like they really did give weight to input from actual stakeholders (#cpp), not just the biased buffoons from #PROP. Kudos @CDCDirector. I hope it isn't premature. If there is disagreement-60 day comment period.
Soooo its looking better for us chronic pain patients...The Revised Opioid Prescribing Guidelines for 2022 look a bit more relaxed when it comes to a patient centered approach to dealing with pain. ( So far) I hope it is implemented correctly!💜
@KatTwisted@JSG_54 Even the CDC cautions against rapid tapering and they have a guide on how to taper responsibly. Your doctor is violating the CDC guidelines while trying to adhere to other CDC guidelines. It is all BS.
I’ve been thinking about how to get around the “precision medicine” drug exceptionalism movement led by anti-opioid academic and MDs. They’re taking each painful dx and deciding if pts w/that dx are “helped” by opioids. If the dx “fails” then they want opioids off the table.
I’ve not taken more than 2 ibuprofen all day. I hope that’ll stop the progression of the detachments in my retinas till other interventions are attempted.
The pain is another story, and at this level it can’t be tolerated for long. Drs should be free to treat it with #OpioidRxs
We need something akin to a DNR but where if you get in an accident or something, your SWP is on file and when the paramedics arrive they just Smother you With a Pillow and save you the torture of actually going to a hospital to have painful treatments without analgesia
@CContrarus@AdamsPebbles@JosephFalzoneMD Seriously! I cringe. And always associated with od's even though CDC themselves said over 85% of the od's
Were illegally produced drugs, NOT PRESCRIPTION. But, they are still trying to blame it in addiction coming from that 1st prescription. BS.
@Gutfeldfox@NPRHealth
@AdamsPebbles@JosephFalzoneMD No one EVER used that word until the CDC began using it in 2016.i HATE IT. If you want to know how effective the CDC propaganda is listen to how many people use the word "Opioids" now.
The secret to getting appropriate pain relief (opioids) is to emphasize the loss of function and quality of life as well as increased pain despite OTC meds.
Good outcomes mandate increased Function and QOL as well as reduced pain. Anything less is practicing BAD MEDICINE.
@jillyannjiggs@Irishbrat1966 You will have to appeal to adm law judge eventually, and they will usually approve if you have adequate documentation and an attorney who knows what they are doing.
1/ My second SSDI denial arrived in the mail today. I [truthfully] used words like "excruciating," "severe," & "constant" to describe my 24/7 pain
Their letter reads: "Although you experience discomfort"
I can't even describe how it feels to hear that shit from your own gov't
So saw a post today from a patient on LTOT who was asked to cold turkey her Norco for 1 week prior to knee surgery. Someone please explain the medical benefit of this. Not long enough to lower tolerance. Norco won't thin blood. So seriously, tell me why?!
