We have raised a $395m Fund 3! Even better: @davidbfischer, former Facebook CRO, is joining us as Partner! techcrunch.com/2023/11/07/01-… After years of competing against David, it’s amazing to be on the same side of the table now. @dickc and i feel so lucky to work with him :) Our for-operators, by-operators fund is prob the only one where the partners have previously taken their companies from $0-$123B in yearly revenue. (Yes, David represents $121B of that!) And, @LiatBycel has joined us as an Operating Partner to work with our portfolio companies. Liat helped grow Airtable to $200m ARR — she’s incredible! Our focus is still the same: We come in right after companies have found product-market-fit and we help with scaling and GTM. We are mostly Series B but also late As. We love B2B SaaS (most of what we do) but would like to find some more consumer biz too! We work with Founders at a very critical time: when their companies are scaling and those Founders/CEOs are looking for help from people who have been there before. If you’re a Founder who is about to go thru a scaling moment, my DMs are open!

This is a fantastic listen - @kayvz is an absolute gem
Sonith@_sonith

My conversation with @kayvz, co-founder of Macroscope and Periscope. We talk about selling for $120M pre-launch to @dickc at Twitter, turning down @elonmusk, getting trolled by Kobe Bryant and much more. His family immigrated to the Bay Area from Iran and he grew up an aspiring filmmaker. With a push from his mom, however, he toured and eventually got admitted to Stanford. This led to a series of software startups with his best friends and eventual acquisitions from Blackboard and Twitter. He led product there and eventually (graciously) turned down Elon to co-found Macroscope. Kayvon is an incredible storyteller, family man, & product mind. And while his accomplishments are many, he's an even better person. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did! A+ team, killer growth and then after using it at 01A, we knew: incredible service. (Diligence meant meticulously testing Atlas’ ability to secure resos at the best restaurants 😜) Excited to join Elad, Gokul & crew to back Atlas Card. Apply today: atlascard.com/request-invite/

The @render team continues to cook!
Anurag Goel@anuraggoel

One month at @render just beat an entire quarter. In March, we added more net new ARR than in all of Q1 2025. 4.8x YoY. 86% above our prior record. Nearly all of this was word of mouth. Developers telling other developers. That compounding is real. Proud of this team.

So good: @Opendoor (now w/ Doma inside) are partnering with Fannie Mae on the Title Acceptance Program, which eliminates the need for lenders’ title insurance. For borrowers: hundreds & hundreds of dollars back in their pocket + much faster close.
Kaz Nejatian@nejatian

Escrow & Closing is to Opendoor what AWS was to Amazon. The infra we use to run our business. It is great. We want it to power what others are building. Today, Opendoor acquired Doma’s escrow services to make home closing faster, cheaper and more certain. For everyone. cnbc.com/2026/03/31/ope…

I’m thrilled to announce that Prospect is joining Crosby, where I will lead marketing. Today, we’re announcing our $60M Series B led by @Lux_Capital & @IndexVentures with participation from @sequoia, @eladgil, @BainCapVC, and @01Advisors.
Ryan Daniels@ryanjdaniels

📣 Update: we raised our $60m Series B from @Lux_Capital, @IndexVentures and @01Advisors, with participation from @sequoia, @eladgil and @BainCapVC . When we came out of stealth 283 days ago, we had negotiated contracts worth $30m for our clients. As of last month, that number is over $1 billion. We work with the most ambitious companies in the world, including @tryramp, @clay and @RogoAI. Today, we want you to hear from some of them directly. Contracts are the rails of commerce. @crosbylegal is a hybrid AI law firm that gets them signed 80% faster. We’re announcing our Series B to keep scaling the dream law firm.

Was freaked out abt the TSA situation so i got to the airport 3 hours early. Literally no one in the line. I paid for CLEAR yesterday, so I used that line and made them pretend to cut in front of 20 imaginary people. Felt so good. This is an incredible product.

A VC just did something I've never seen before. We had 6 years of runway and no plans to raise. Then she sent me a message that made us reopen our closed $30M round. We'd just closed our Series A. We were burning $200K a month. We didn't need more capital. Then I got a message from a VC at Notable Capital. Most investor emails say: "Hey Tanay, I'd love to learn more about Wispr and your vision." This one said: "I've tried every voice tool in the market. Wispr is my favorite. Here's why. I onboarded my entire family and my entire firm. I sat with each person through the experience. We have strong conviction." I read it twice. Wait. You did what? She didn't ask for a demo. She became a power user. Then ran her own reference checks. I took the call immediately. Turns out, Notable Capital was formerly GGV. And GGV had Hans Tung - someone I'd met my first week at Stanford. I sat in on his talk and thought: "I want to work with this guy one day." 10 years later, here we were. Over the next few weeks, we built conviction in each other. They saw the world the way we did. We made an exception. Instead of waiting for Series B, we did an A2 with them. Most investors ask founders to prove the product works. This investor proved it to herself first. That level of effort is rare. When someone puts in that much work before they even talk to you, you pay attention. If you want a founder's attention, don't ask for a demo. Do the work. Use the product. Form your own belief in it. Then show up with proof, not questions. That's what gets meetings. That's what closes rounds. PS: Chelcie Taylor, you're one of the most special VC's I've worked with ❤️ — Written with Wispr Flow

I’m so psyched the @pierrecomputer team is starting to talk publicly about this because these numbers are bonkers! Code.storage is enterprise git for codegen platforms. These adoption numbers speak for themselves: bigger than GitHub now for new repos per minute. 💪🏼
Jacob@fat

Code[dot]Storage A new Git provider for machines by @pierrecomputer. In Oct, Github shared they were averaging ~230 new repos per minute. Last week we hit a sustained peak of > 15,000 repos per minute for 3 hours. And in the last 30 days customers have created > 9m repos🧵
