@adambain
Investor at 01A. We spent a fortune on our website, so check it out: https://t.co/So3Ge6bpkR. Was Twitter COO.

My conversation with @kayvz, co-founder of Macroscope and Periscope. We talk about selling for $120M pre-launch to @dickc at Twitter, turning down @elonmusk, getting trolled by Kobe Bryant and much more. His family immigrated to the Bay Area from Iran and he grew up an aspiring filmmaker. With a push from his mom, however, he toured and eventually got admitted to Stanford. This led to a series of software startups with his best friends and eventual acquisitions from Blackboard and Twitter. He led product there and eventually (graciously) turned down Elon to co-found Macroscope. Kayvon is an incredible storyteller, family man, & product mind. And while his accomplishments are many, he's an even better person. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did! A+ team, killer growth and then after using it at 01A, we knew: incredible service. (Diligence meant meticulously testing Atlas’ ability to secure resos at the best restaurants 😜) Excited to join Elad, Gokul & crew to back Atlas Card. Apply today: atlascard.com/request-invite/

We’re proud to announce our $40M funding round led by @eladgil and Verified Capital, alongside @01Advisors and @MarathonMP. This capital will expand our foundation, advancing in-house technology and operations, and enhancing our dining, lifestyle and travel offering.

One month at @render just beat an entire quarter. In March, we added more net new ARR than in all of Q1 2025. 4.8x YoY. 86% above our prior record. Nearly all of this was word of mouth. Developers telling other developers. That compounding is real. Proud of this team.

Escrow & Closing is to Opendoor what AWS was to Amazon. The infra we use to run our business. It is great. We want it to power what others are building. Today, Opendoor acquired Doma’s escrow services to make home closing faster, cheaper and more certain. For everyone. cnbc.com/2026/03/31/ope…
