Our Lithium Refinery is designed to have a much lower carbon footprint than traditional hard rock refineries – Acid-free refining helps produce a safe coproduct – Water is recycled throughout production, with every drop treated & cleaned on site – Designed to close the loop for lithium in our battery supply chain

Horror in Dubai. A 24 year old American female airline worker in Dubai has been arrested. Dubai police installed a surveillance tool on her phone. Without her consent. They found her sharing an image of a burning building with her mother. So they set a trap. They pretended to be her office staff and called her in for a meeting yesterday. When she arrived, she was arrested. 2 years in jail. That spying tool is installed on every foreigner's device in Dubai. That means the Dubai Police are watching everything foreigners send to their families. Every message. Every photo. Every video. Including the most intimate moments. Dubai has denied her a lawyer.

As we count down to NJ-11 tonight, I've got some some news to share. The numbers we've been getting for these just-the-results/no punditry election livestreams are telling us that there's a real appetite out there for this kind of coverage. So we're ramping up to give you even more -- and to enter a new frontier for us. On May 5, we will go live to track all the results from Indiana, where several GOP state senators are facing Trump-backed primary challenges after their votes against redistricting last year. This will be our first time doing this at the state legislative level, but the interest-level in these contests and the stakes are clearly national. So put it on your calendars. And in the meantime, please join us tonight -- and, as always, help us spread the word so we can keep this growing even more!

I’ll be going live at 7:45 tonight, just before polls close in the NJ-11 special election. Fun starts at 7:45. Be there and please help us spread the word! youtube.com/live/qK1O86ebk…

This is the key moment between Jensen and Dwarkesh on export controls: 1. Dwarkesh asks why it’s okay to sell NVIDIA chips to China given the national security implications of AI models like Mythos. 2. Jensen gives a misleading answer, arguing that it’s okay to sell American chips to China because China already produces 60% of the world’s chips. 3. But as Jensen definitely knows, compute is measured in flops, not number of chips. 4. Dwarkesh then pushes back, pointing out that on a flops basis, China has 10% of the compute the US has, and giving them more compute would change their cyber capabilities. This exchange shows why it’s critically important for interviewers to have at least some technical knowledge, so they can push back against misleading talking points.

The Jensen Huang episode. 0:00:00 – Is Nvidia’s biggest moat its grip on scarce supply chains? 0:16:25 – Will TPUs break Nvidia’s hold on AI compute? 0:41:06 – Why doesn’t Nvidia become a hyperscaler? 0:57:36 – Should we be selling AI chips to China? 1:35:06 – Why doesn’t Nvidia make multiple different chip architectures? 🚨 Russia targets civilians. Russia bombs hospitals. Russia is a terrorist state — and it's time U.S. law reflects that. H.R. 5797 would designate Russia as a State Sponsor of Terrorism. Ya know I have an idea: ranking boring stretches of interstate 1. I-95 through South Carolina (exception is over Lake Madison) 2. I-20 in Georgia from Augusta to Lake Oconee 3. I-95 in North Carolina 4. I-95 in Virginia (except near Richmond and DC)

Today, I voted to block the provision of U.S. military assistance to Israel: 1,000-pound so-called ‘dumb’ bombs and military bulldozers. In the future, I will continue to assess U.S.-funded offensive weapons to Israel on a case-by-case basis, and I will continue to support sending Israel much-needed defensive weapons, like Iron Dome. I have struggled with these Joint Resolutions of Disapproval as much as any vote since I joined Congress. I represent a state with a large Arab and Muslim population and a large Jewish population. And over these last two-plus years, few issues have been as raw, painful, and personal as this one. Throughout that time, I have worked hard to call balls and strikes based on my experience and the facts on the ground, even when some are reluctant to consider new information. My entire life, I have been -- and continue to be -- a strong supporter of a Jewish and democratic State of Israel. The people of Israel, like all people throughout the region, deserve long-term security and peace. But being pro-Israel today is not about simply supporting the political or military agenda of Prime Minister Netanyahu, just like being pro-American should not be equated with loyalty to President Trump. This is a complex truth that many of us who support Israel hold, and it applies to my own patriotism and government as well. I can support the security of a country without supporting the specific policies of any one political party or leader. And if Israelis can take part in rigorous debate and protests of their own government’s policies, Americans supportive of Israel can do the same thing. I have no love lost for the Iranian regime or their proxy groups like Hezbollah. I know firsthand from three tours in Iraq alongside our military how Iran is responsible for the deaths of hundreds of Americans and thousands more civilians in the Middle East. But President Trump committed the U.S. to a war of choice against Iran, alongside Israel, with no evidence of an imminent threat, no clear objectives, and without Congressional approval. Seven weeks in, he has yet to provide a strategy for this war or a clear path to get out of it. So just as I am against more U.S.-funded weapons to Israel today, I am also deeply skeptical of more U.S. funding for the Iran war, which reportedly could be anywhere between $50 to $200 billion, on top of $1 trillion provided to the Pentagon last year. Every American should be invested in the U.S. ending this war with the least possible loss of blood and treasure. It is my hope that we can get a comprehensive and durable ceasefire as soon as possible.

@AlbertJLewis6 @LinkofSunshine You're not really addressing my argument in any significant capacity here. A potential solution might be to build more commercial space, but we live in a reality where that's obviously not happening anytime soon in any major US metropolitan area.

@nobody_ @LinkofSunshine Then they can move somewhere else, even if it hard, or if the profits are not enough then they can shutter. This would only be a problem if there wasnt enough commercial space, so the solution is to build more commercial space.

@AlbertJLewis6 @LinkofSunshine Why would the business close? It's very specifically just enough not to shutter. Even if they're really just getting scraps for something that's no fault of their own.

@YIMBYLAND Clearly the market values AI along more than rebuilding America's industrial base, which makes sense because America should not be an industrial nation.

@AlbertJLewis6 @LinkofSunshine A more profitable business doesn't matter if the landlord is capable of taking roughly 90% of the business's profit regardless of what that number is. See: just enough to not shutter.

@nobody_ @LinkofSunshine Then make a more profitable business. If it shutters and the landlord cant find a new tenant they will drop rates. Its as simple as that.

@LinkofSunshine No, a business can't just move a block away! The costs of moving everything out, completing necessary buildout in the new location, and then moving everything into a new location can cost north of a hundred thousand dollars even for a relatively simple small business.
