Honestly, the chain has been live for almost a year and we still only have a handful of apps that really feel worth using. There’s been a lot of big promises from @LucaNetz , great salesman, no debate there, but so far, many of those declarations haven’t really materialized. I also hope the end of the InfoFi meta won’t hurt Abstract too much. Right now, it sometimes feels like a chain that exists more on X than through its actual apps. It’s cool to have rekt cans in Abstract colors or Pudgys on spheres, but when you claim to be a consumer chain and users land on experiences that feel worse than early-2000s Flash game websites… that’s a problem. Streaming is also pretty rough. There are often more creators than viewers and honestly, you can’t really blame viewers for not wanting to watch yet another shaky gambling game. Another thing: pushing fewer low-quality apps would help. Stuff like the @Cryptoys badge campaign or The Speed Trader game triggering antivirus warnings… that’s not a great look. That said, how’s the Portal v2 going? Curious, that’s probably the part I’m most optimistic about right now.
