The woman who went viral on Mumbai streets is no longer just a face in a chaotic video. Tina Chaudhary -the same woman who confronted Maharashtra Minister Girish Mahajan during a traffic jam caused by a protest has now spoken for the first time. No social media. No political backing. Just a citizen pushed to the edge. In a 3 min 15 sec video, she explains what really happened, why she lost her calm, and what she expects from all of us. Her message is simple: She cannot be the voice of every Indian. Because every Indian already has a voice. The question is : are we ready to use it? #Mumbai #ViralVideo #TinaChaudhary #Democracy #SpeakUp @girishdmahajan @MumbaiPolice @MTPHereToHelp @CMOMaharashtra @Dev_Fadnavis

#WATCH | Teena Choudhry, the woman seen in the viral video wearing a black cap, confronting Maharashtra Minister Girish Mahajan over a traffic jam, releases a statement detailing her side of the story She says, "I have received so many messages regarding my safety. I want to let you know that I'm fine and I appreciate the concern. That day, on April 21, I dropped my daughter off for her music class at four. I was meant to pick her up at 4.45. When I took a left turn from Mahindra Taj, we got stuck in a jam there. I was in my car for 25 minutes. When the traffic did not move, I got out to find out what the problem was. For the next one and a half hours, I went to every single police officer there to request that if you get the two buses removed, people who are stuck, we can make a U-turn and join the main road. I received no reaction, no response. I did not throw that bottle towards any protester or rally, but on the ground to attract the attention of the police... Mr Mahajan was actually the only person in that rally who at least tried to listen to what I was saying. On his instructions, the two buses were moved, and we all took a U-turn, and we were able to join the main road..." (Disclaimer: Screenshot of the viral video from social media)

𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐋𝐚𝐤𝐡𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬: 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐦𝐩 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫’𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 | A proposed ₹3.40 crore renovation of the Mumbai Mayor’s official bungalow has sparked sharp criticism after an RTI revelation showed a fourfold jump in costs—from ₹85 lakh to crores. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s plan includes luxury upgrades like Italian marble flooring, heritage-style lighting, and structural changes, even as activists question the need for such heavy spending on a bungalow that is already in livable condition.

Anyone wondered why BJP ministers like @MPLodha name their buildings with anglicised prefix or suffixes like #LodhaBellissimo #LodhaAltamount shouldn’t Lodha sea face be Lodha SamudraKinara? Lodha World One should be Lodha Prithvi no? I am sure other builder- netas are doing the same thing! When it comes to dhanda- different rules apply.

IMPORTANT: Can we have a ban on ALL political protests on main roads at peak hours on weekdays across India? If you wish to protest, please do so in a designated area at a fixed time. Protestors are brought in buses, main roads are blocked, traffic gets congested and citizens bear the brunt. Mumbai yesterday, where else tomorrow? 😡

What kind of stupidity is this? People are making her a hero but see what she is doing. She is abusing people, throwing garbage on road, creating ruckus. We shouldn’t promote people like her.

#WATCH | Mumbai, Maharashtra: On his Viral Video, Maharashtra Minister Girish Mahajan says, "... The woman was very angry and spoke harshly. It wasn’t just one woman — many people were upset. I said, look, protests happen everywhere. You’ve seen big demonstrations before, even highways blocked. Whenever rallies reach Mumbai, traffic jams occur. This is not the first time. Across the country, protests happen... Yes, there was traffic congestion. She approached police but felt ignored, so became more aggressive. I believe the rally caused about an hour’s delay, which troubled people. But there were thousands of women present, and we asked them to let vehicles pass. Still, some threw bottles, which was wrong. I apologised to her and others, saying the road would clear in 10 minutes. We told her not to overreact or use foul language. In the end, I said sorry again, and assured that we will be more careful..."

Today I am posting four videos of a brave, courageous, common Indian woman who has gone viral across India. Why? Because she did what most of us feel… but rarely say. A political rally blocked the roads for hours. Commuters were stuck. Chaos everywhere. And this woman? She just wanted to pick up her child from school. But when patience ran out, she stepped forward. She questioned the system. She questioned politicians. She questioned the police. And she asked the most powerful question: “Who are you to block these roads? Just get out and clear them.” No slogans. No politics. Just a citizen demanding accountability. We need this courage. We need more voices like hers.Because democracy doesn’t just survive on votes , it survives on citizens who dare to ask questions. @girishdmahajan @MumbaiPolice @CPMumbaiPolice @Dev_Fadnavis @CMOMaharashtra @BJP4Maharashtra

A woman is allegedly seen losing her cool on Maharashtra cabinet minister Girish Mahajan, over the traffic snarl caused by the BJP morcha in Mumbai on Tuesday evening. This was during a protest march on the issue of the Women's Reservation Bill. She was heard asking the minister to protest on a ground, and not hold up the traffic by marching on the streets. The opposition hit out at the BJP while appreciating the woman. - @vinivdvc reports Video: Special Arrangement
