3/ It is approaching 6 years since the Dimmock family still firmly believe that Derek’s death was hastened and they strongly believe the cause of death was euthanasia with the cause being iatrogenic (caused by medical treatment) as the evidence indicates he was correctly diagnosed with polyarticular gout as his acute pain on arrival by the Junior Doctor and then inexplicably received multiple doses of midazolam in both injection and syringe driver form starting only an hour after admission. The midazolam, alfentanil and oxycodone that was given to Derek Dimmock was continuous until his death the following day. The Dimmock family continue to await updates from Senior Coroner Dr Julian Morris and his conclusion on cause of death as the family do not accept the existing death certificate provided by Royal Trinity Hospice of 1a: Heart Failure

@LostTransport Absolutely right. Every government has steadfastly ignored/resisted the clear advice to establish a single regulator since Mid Staffs produced the Francis recommendations… for good reason. They prefer having regulation broken up and dysfunctional, as it avoids exposing failure.

I remember a friend asking me why I was so angry and refused to let go. Took a while before I was able to answer that question to my own satisfaction, but it hit me eventually…
