The Mandelbrot Set

@CatManitarMike

I don't think that people are stupid because they are flat earthers. I think that people become flat earthers because they are stupid.

Due to the flerfs claiming that the Moon wasn't there on eclipse day, I calculated the positions of the centers of the Sun and the Moon when they were above the horizon on the day before, when the Moon was seen before dawn and the day after, when it was seen after sunset. 1/2

@TerryHaffnerMD @TedLogan1010 Why are you ashamed to admit that you are a flat earther who believes that there is flat Earth evidence in Antarctica? Your flat Earth cult leaders were offered a free trip there. They declined because they knew that it would end their grift. It's all a scam.

@CatManitarMike @TedLogan1010 Visitors need a permit from their country's Antarctic Treaty authority for environmental compliance. Entry point countries like Argentina or Chile may require a visa based on nationality. Check with authorities before planning your trip. And you cannot just go anywhere, solo.

People were being threatened with jail for teaching the heliocentric model in 1900! But I was told that the Greeks figured it out thousands of years ago and flat earth is just a C👁️A psyop!?

@April1happygirl @BenThe_Wanderer That sounds wrong. There were no flat earthers for a thousand years prior to the 1800s. People such as Robotham and Carpenter published some flat Earth books and got in newspapers during the 1800s. It died out during World War I. It rose from the dead on YouTube.

@BenThe_Wanderer I can respect that. I spent some time in documentaries but also realizing this was an active discussion until 1958 when NASA was created which helped see how our government decided for us.

@TerryHaffnerMD @TedLogan1010 Have you tried to go there and been turned down? No. You don't know anything about it. I know someone who went to Union Glacier. No permit was required. Of course, you need a visa to visit some foreign nations. That is a red herring. It must be copypasta.

@TerryHaffnerMD @TedLogan1010 It appears that you are the one who is repeating what other people told you to say about visiting Antarctica. The American government encourages travel there. They let private companies enforce the environmental regulations.

@TerryHaffnerMD @TedLogan1010 The treaty does not prevent people from travelling to Antarctica. You could easily go there without "getting permission from numerous countries or bureaucrats." You proposed a conspiracy of NASA hiding something in Antarctica. Now you will not support your own claim.

Thank you for providing that, I was a little busy reporting and impersonation account from someone who is criminally obsessed with me. I think flat Earth belief is tied to an inability to think in three dimensions. If you could merely visualize being on a rotating plate with stars all around you you'd quickly realize there's no way to get them to reverse direction while rotating in one direction yourself. The only way to do that would be if you could get underneath of the plate. On a spherical Earth it makes perfect sense, depending on your location on the sphere you are above or below the center of rotation and thus your perspective will be reversed.

Here we have the classic "star trails flip" puzzle that trips up so many people—why do northern stars circle counterclockwise around Polaris, yet southern ones appear to spin the opposite way around a southern point? It's not two separate poles or a spinning ball—it's pure perspective on a flat plane under a dome-firmament. As you move south, Polaris sinks toward the horizon. Past the equator, you’re looking “outward” towards the edge, so the same counterclockwise motion around the central north pole gets optically flipped in appearance—like viewing a spinning record from the far side through a curved lens. Mind-bending proof the sky isn't two hemispheres on a globe—it's one unified circuit above a stationary plane. Stars don't "change direction." Instead, your position just warps how the motion projects. Wake up to the optical trick they've sold as "opposite hemispheres." Reality might just be simpler, stranger, and way more elegant.

@CatManitarMike @TedLogan1010 Solar eclipses are impossible above Earth with a local star and moon both circling 3,000 feet above smooth brained Flatards under the solid glass rain gated dome protecting Earth, and the Flatards living on the stationary, flat pizza Earth mounted on pillars hanging on nothing.

@TerryHaffnerMD @TedLogan1010 You did fall for the scam. It is a common tactic that con men use so that you will ignore the evidence that they are lying to you. Are you ever going to state what it is that you claim is so special about Antarctica? Is it a conspiracy theory?

@CatManitarMike @TedLogan1010 People can make educated guesses about what is in the center of the sun, but since no one can get close, it’s impossible to know with any certainly. As far as the center of the earth, it would be easier to make predictions, but still impossible without actually going there.

@AlwaysWrightDM @77TheGreenMan77 @truthache68 The sickly green man only insults people and tells them that they don't understand what he doesn't understand. He never explains anything. He never answers questions because he is unable. You are correct about oval star trails in flat land.

@77TheGreenMan77 @truthache68 "doesn't understand optics" Go on then. Explain your magical optics that would cause stars over a flat Earth that are all rotating in one direction to magically appear as if they're rotating in the opposite direction, while not appearing to be ovoid above you.

@TerryHaffnerMD @TedLogan1010 I see that you fell for the scam that you have to physically visit everything before you can know anything about it. Do you also claim that nobody can know anything about the center of the Earth or the Sun? What is your claim about Antarctica? What is "hidden" there?

@77TheGreenMan77 @TerryHaffnerMD @TedLogan1010 You are lying. You have never been to Antarctica. There is no dome over the Earth there. There is the midnight Sun that disproves your cult indoctrination. Can you tell me how it can get dark anywhere on Earth during the months when it never gets dark at the edge of it?

@TerryHaffnerMD @TedLogan1010 Nothing. If you keep walking south you will start walking up the dome. It connects the sky to the Earth. Can't have people figuring that out.

@77TheGreenMan77 @TBRagsdale1 @TedLogan1010 When you assumed that we never researched the ridiculous pseudoscience that we make fun of, you lost what little credibility that you had left. I'm waiting on you to explain how your little fairy sun is currently seen in many locations at the same time, but you ran away.

@TBRagsdale1 @TedLogan1010 I have yet to meet anyone who beLIEves in the Globe that does a shred of actually looking into it. Every single one of them that did for real now knows the surface of Earth is flat. The Globe is always an assumption and is pseudoscience.

@ToddClark572278 @TedLogan1010 Lunar eclipses are impossible in flat Earth fantasy land, so they lie and claim that they are impossible in the real world, too. Their dirt pizza can never get between their little Sun and moon to cast its shadow to cause an eclipse.
