@ZacksJerryRig Our world is what it is because of people... and a lot of people is dumb and self-harming.
Nowadays stuff is verifiable more than ever it was, but it is clear that a lot of people chooses to just supports liars (probably because they are liars themselves).

Just for the record - Elon is no closer now to helping paralyzed people walk than when he first started promising it 9 years ago.
He has no solution for bridging a broken spinal cord in animals or humans.
As someone *very* involved with the disabled and spinal cord injured communities - these lies are incredibly unhelpful.
Companies who are just as far - if not farther along with Brain Computer Interfaces (BCIs) are Clinatec, Braingate, and Synchron.
So if you're going to donate, or just want to just follow the tech, perhaps send your money and views to them instead of a snake oil grifter like @elonmusk
Elon Musk@elonmusk
Neuralink will do live-changing good for ultimately millions, maybe billions, of people. Imagine your loved one being able to walk again or your parent with dementia being able to recognize their child again.

Lightweight. Powerful. AI-driven.💻
Just got my hands on the new Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Gen 6, powered by @AMD Ryzen™ AI PRO 300 series — a true masterclass in modern business mobility.
At less than 1 kg, it’s the lightest X Series ever, beautifully designed to keep up with you whether you’re on a flight ✈️, on the go, or building the next big idea from anywhere.
We’re incredibly proud to partner with @Lenovo to bring this new wave of AI PC performance, Copilot+ experiences, enterprise-grade security 🔒, and seamless connectivity to life.
Light enough to forget it’s in my bag. Powerful enough to run the future. 🚀

In this paper, researchers have demosntrated that the real cause of Physics-Informed NNs failure modes is the early stopping of the optimization process, which can be easily solved by improving the training arithmetic precision of the mode. #DeepLearning

A chunk of this is just @Project2501_117 dressing me in tighter shirts, but I did put on several pounds of muscle this year after switching my random grab bag of vitamins and supplements over to @bryan_johnson ‘s Blueprint system. I was probably not getting enough protein to take advantage of the exercise I was doing.
I have always been roughly “upper quintile” for fitness — regular exercise, but not at the level of the serious athletes that most offices tend to have a few of.

I promised to @pulp_platform to never do supercalar (too much hard engineering vs. research 🙄). However it was worth it. We need high quality open source cores, with industry support , to climb the performance ladder at high energy efficiency. The team did it! 👍

@amdradeon The 8 GB card sounds bad for the future.
But maybe it is better than with 12 GB using 96bit and 241 GB/s of bandwidth, who knows.

@arik2103 @geerlingguy @GamersNexus @HardwareUnboxed @paulhardware AMD historically chases NVIDIA, you would buy a worse product all around.
AMD is surely doing their best but think that DLSS transformer is usable for every RTX user, meanwhile only RDNA4 users can use FSR4... and there's also game support.

@Cippo1995 @geerlingguy @GamersNexus @HardwareUnboxed @paulhardware They can retaliate by not buying green cards

GPU reviewers like @GamersNexus @HardwareUnboxed and @paulhardware posted videos decrying Nvidia's marketing push where independent reviewers are given the snub, but more 'commercial' reviewers are provided drivers—and talking points—for more favorable press.
