In his book, Gowon cast Ojukwu as the bad guy on #Biafra & Aburi. In this video, Ojukwu replied Gowon word for word, as if he knew what was to come.

Former INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner, Mike Igini, has raised serious concerns about three dangerous provisions in the new Electoral Act that many Nigerians are unaware of. 1. The Act now allows candidates contesting elections to print their own ballot papers. 2. It also permits INEC officials to accept ballot papers that lack the official INEC security features 3. It shields electoral officers from scrutiny (Section 137) "It is no longer necessary to join presiding or returning officers in election petitions-even when they are directly responsible for misconduct.” This is serious!

ARMY STRIKES IPOB/ESN STRONGHOLDS, RECOVERS EXPLOSIVE, RANSOM FUNDS Troops of the Nigerian Army (NA) under Operation EASTERN SANITY have intensified offensive operations across the South-East, decisively overrunning IPOB/ESN strongholds and pushing the criminal elements into disarray. Relentless pressure mounted by the troops, backed by superior firepower, intelligence and joint-force synergy, has continued to expose the group’s weakening structure and inability to withstand sustained military action. On 14 April 2026, joint troops of Sector 1, supported by the Air Component of Operation UDO KA, launched a precision strike and clearance operation in Ajali Forest, Ezeagu Local Government Area of Enugu State. The offensive forced IPOB/ESN elements into a chaotic retreat, abandoning critical assets, including an anti-tank Improvised Explosive Device (IED). The failed attempt to deploy the device underscores the group’s desperation and declining operational competence. The IED was safely secured by the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Security team, averting potential harm to troops and civilians. Troops have since established firm dominance over the general area, sustaining aggressive clearance operations and systematically dismantling all terrorist infrastructure. The deliberate destruction of hideouts using chainsaws and bulldozers has stripped the criminals of cover, leaving them exposed, scattered and unable to regroup or mount any meaningful resistance. In a related intelligence-driven operation on the same day, troops of 82 Division Garrison deployed at Adani in Uzo-Uwani LGA, acting on credible intelligence from the Department of State Services, tracked and intercepted ransom proceeds linked to a kidnapping syndicate. The swift raid led to the arrest of a notorious kidnap suspect, further exposing the group’s reliance on criminality to sustain its collapsing network. Exploitation of the area led to the recovery of a pump-action rifle and the sum of Two Million Naira (₦2,000,000), Cash believed to be ransom funds, from the suspect’s residence. The suspect and recovered items have been handed over to the appropriate authorities, for a through investigation to track other members of the criminal gang. The operation further degraded the IPOB/ESN’s operational and financial capacity. These outcomes further demonstrate that IPOB/ESN elements are steadily losing ground, resources and cohesion under sustained military pressure. The Nigerian Army remains unrelenting and fully committed to annihilating all criminal and insurgent elements, denying them any sanctuary. The NA further assures law-abiding citizens of its unwavering resolve to protect lives and property and urges continued public support as operations intensify to restore enduring peace and stability across the South-East.

Let it be known only terrorists are openly allowed to carry guns in Nigeria. As citizens are massacred proudly Nigeria security forces prevent citizens from defending their families.

For the umpteenth time, I strongly condemn and completely disassociate myself from any form of illegal killing, destruction or violence. This is not the first time I have made this position loud and clear and it certainly will not be the last. I will continue to repeat it as many times as necessary that I do not and will never condone violence or any act of terrorism, regardless of who is involved or what justification is presented. Seriously, I fail to understand why that agent of hatred, Alex Barbir, is persistently trying to drag me into his conversations. Though, I suspect that it is for the attention and engagement that mentioning my name brings him. I am aware that when he first started mentioning my name, he had fewer than 10,000 followers on this platform. Now, he has grown that number to over twenty thousand, so it is obvious why my name keeps coming up in his ungodly conversation. Let me be unequivocal and absolutely clear that anyone who takes innocent lives or destroys the livelihood of others ceases to have any moral standing with me. Even if we share the same blood, tribe, region or religion, such a person is no brother of mine. I have no sympathy whatsoever for terrorists. I despise their actions. These terrorists have not only taken the lives of many people I personally know but have also murdered thousands of innocent and vulnerable people, many of whom have no voice, no platform, and no one to speak up for their justice. I stand firmly against all forms of violence, anywhere in the world, and against anyone who perpetrates it. However, what I will never accept is the dangerous and unfair generalizing or profiling that paints all Muslims as terrorists or claims that such atrocities are committed in the name of Islam. This narrative is deeply unjust to over two billion Muslims worldwide, especially to the countless Muslim victims of terrorism and their families. My position will always remain consistent, clear and firm that I stand for peace, for justice and for the dignity of every innocent life.

Though condemnation is great, there has been 20 years of condemnation. It is past due time for action. In Nigeria, thousands are being massacred and killed innocently as the government stands idle. Congressman, we beg that the innocent would be protected from evil.
Rep. Riley M. Moore@RepRileyMoore

As Christians in Nigeria continue to face brutal violence and death for their faith this Holy Week, I joined VAT Chairman @Robert_Aderholt in leading 19 of our colleagues in a statement condemning violence and persecution against Christians. We also reminded the Nigerian government that President Trump signed bipartisan legislation that includes language that @MarioDB and I fought for to explicitly tie continued U.S. security assistance to the Nigerians making significant progress in addressing violence against Christians in the Middle Belt. This horrific persecution must end. Now.

There’s no version of Nigeria in which we northerners would ever vote for Peter Obi as president. It’s never going to happen. Even if you pair him with the Sultan of Sokoto, not just Kwankwaso, we still won’t vote for him.

Those behind the attack on innocent people in Jos yesterday are pure terrorists and our enemies. The authorities must swiftly identify them, hold them accountable and ensure they face the full weight of the law.

Why is everyone scared to mention the Christian genocide in Nigeria? Not one neighboring African country speaks up. Almost no one in the world except America & Israel. King Charles hosted Pres. Tinubu at Windsor Castle, praised "religious diversity," & said "Ramadan Mubarak!" Zero words on the slaughter: Nigeria accounts for ~72% of global Christian faith-related killings with over 5,000 christian murdered just in recent time by Fulani Islamic terrorists who are evident in the government and decision making table of Nigeria . But why the global silence?
