It is a matter of grave concern that, even in the third year since the violence of May 2023, personnel who served under your command continue to face the same issue. Despite having been forcibly evicted from their officially allotted quarters on May 3–4, 2023, during which their personal belongings were either destroyed or burned, House Rent Allowance (HRA) continues to be deducted from their monthly salaries. The deduction of House Rent Allowance be discontinued with immediate effect for all affected personnel. 2. Do we have enough food, water, and other essentials, and has a team been mobilized for this? 8. If serious injuries or casualties occur due to war, do we have a proper hospital to treat the wounded? 9. Do we have adequate schools and colleges? Has the education sector been well planned? Have we considered the future of our youth and their education? 10. If we go to war against other communities, are we also prepared to accept separate administration for them? 11. During the 1993 Kuki-Naga conflict, the Tangkhul initiated the war and drew the Zeliangrong people into it. Yet during the war, in places like Litan and Ukhrul, Tangkhul and Kuki people were still playing volleyball together. How do we explain that? 12. When NSCN-IM waged war against the Kukis, they also involved the Zeliangrong people. Later, they separated and established their own government within the Kuki Tribal Council Region. How can that be explained? 13. If war breaks out, will CSO leaders such as those in the JTC, RNCM, RNYO, etc., take responsibility for the outcomes? Or will village and community leaders refuse to take responsibility? A human being can generally survive without food and water for only 3 to 7 days.
