@SubcommanderT @starfleetboy @misterleslietos After I originally posted I was thinking, no this scene is when Kirk was loosing his ability to command.
English

@LanettiLen @starfleetboy I have a fondness for him! (see my @misterleslietos account). His scene in This Side of Paradise ("this is mutiny, mister" "yes sir, it is!") is his best moment imo. The pic is from And the Children Shall Lead when Kirk seems to be speaking gibberish thanks to the Gorgon.
English

@SubcommanderT @starfleetboy Eddie Paskey, lots of scenes, more episodes than Takei or Koenig. Often in scenes with Doohan as his hand double. Originally called Connors, later Mr Leslie which stuck. Died once, back for the next episode. Also openly mutinied against Kirk (I think that is the scene pictured).

@BiologicalWoma2 @JoeGambone If they are out standing he should bring them in.

@Outback @sabsizzling FYI I liked the seared tuna as an appetizer. I like it as an entree too.
English

@sabsizzling Sorry we removed the entrée salad you loved, Sabrina 😭We'll let our team know you miss it!

@BudLightSadness Face is red raise the head. Face is pale raise the tail.

@pnwguerrilla Had two similar to that. One had picture in a picture but you had to fiddle with the VCR to get something to show up in the smaller picture. Good times. TVs where heavier back then and I was lighter.

@MikeyDiMercurio For ages I have wondered the nature of that building. Yes, it does look like something from "The Wizard of Oz" & the Emerald City.
On the same road is the super secret exit to the mythical "Puzzle Palace".

@Shadzey1 I went to Catholic school, I know that would frighten anyone off but she probably prefers to be called Sister Chaku.

You cannot fathom that there are other levels to this because they are so far above your own.

@DK58491309 my house has been robbed. i left my partner asleep in bed and confronted the intruder with a nunchaku and a stern voice and suggested he leave. he took my suggestion, you guys are just soft

@RSE_VB Mmmmmm...ok, that is a heck of a trick...the wingspan of a U2 is 103 or 105 feet (depending on variant)...from what I have read it is probably one of the hardest aircraft to land on a real runway.
Good thing they had Air Force pilots trying it. ;<)

Interestingly, my Dad was involved in that project. He was a fairly noteworthy LSO at the time and got the nod to help. Not sure if he waived it.
We were sitting around having martinis in the early 90s and he mentioned it. At that time, I think it was still classified so he didn’t offer any details.

When you absolutely need to get strategic level photography of an area out of normal range of a land based asset. Let me introduce the U-2G. A ruggedized U-2 with a tailhook and improved landing gear. Doing testing on USS America, CVA-66, to prove the concept.

@airmainengineer Hot and high altitude. Normally aspirated engine. Short fat Grumman wing. They are great planes, just need to be mindful of the numbers.

@EODHappyCaptain I never signed up for Selective Service at age 18.
I remember I was in San Antonio Texas when I turned 18.
Snicker, snicker.

@RestrictedDaily Hard to go wrong with a salty sweat combo. Never tried it but likely very good. I might suggest toasting the bread first.

@cicada_WT FB-111 could deploy nukes...that was the original intent of the design...high speed, low altitude penetration...gravity and later stand off nuclear weapons.
