@SubcommanderT @starfleetboy Eddie Paskey, lots of scenes, more episodes than Takei or Koenig. Often in scenes with Doohan as his hand double. Originally called Connors, later Mr Leslie which stuck. Died once, back for the next episode. Also openly mutinied against Kirk (I think that is the scene pictured).

@RSE_VB Mmmmmm...ok, that is a heck of a trick...the wingspan of a U2 is 103 or 105 feet (depending on variant)...from what I have read it is probably one of the hardest aircraft to land on a real runway. Good thing they had Air Force pilots trying it. ;<)

Interestingly, my Dad was involved in that project. He was a fairly noteworthy LSO at the time and got the nod to help. Not sure if he waived it. We were sitting around having martinis in the early 90s and he mentioned it. At that time, I think it was still classified so he didn’t offer any details.
