@koolusuck14 @TheLaurenChen Re-read what I posted. Before the NHL there was a black hockey league that shaped how the NHL exists today. And defined the NHL

@Chepetukh Wait, I thought the split was due to a violation of Xiongnu customs for succession, with the former widow of the Chanyu appointing someone else to be Chanyu, and angering other warlords, causing the initial crisis.

@Master_Chen98 Split within the Xiongnu in BC 58-57 caused by Woyanqudi Chanyu's oppressive policies. Even if it was caused by Han, it doesn't have to do with our topic. Because we was talking about the war between Xiongnu and Han, and its just a confession of Han's impotence against Xiongnu.

@Chepetukh The split within the Xiongnu was caused by the Han Dynasty though. The Southern Xiongnu sought out Han aid, and willingly became vassals.

@Chepetukh It was both policy and military to be fair. They conducted campaigns deep into Xiongnu territory, eventually defeating the Northern Xiongnu in the Battle of the Altai mountains in 89AD. And this was after decades of politics to ensure the Xiongnu remained divided

@Master_Chen98 Han armies had not been able to gain control over the Xiongnu problem, so Han Dynasty tried to defeat Xiongnu by policy. Even your description supports me.

@Chepetukh How is it not though? The Han exploited the squabble by imposing economic pressure on the xiongnu, along with supporting competing warlords against one another. Otherwise the stronger of the xiongnu warlords would've just overpowered the others, and maintained unity.

3) Çin hiçbir zaman Xiongnu İmparatorluğu'na karşı nihai bir zafer kazanamadı. Gerçekte Xiongnu gücünün çöküşü, Çinlilerin iddia ettiğinin aksine, Han Hanedanı'nın saldırılarından çok daha farklı sebeplere bağlıydı. Çinliler Xiongnu problemini hiçbir zaman gerçekten çözemediler.

1) Çin ordusu zaman fark etmeksizin göçebe ordularından her zaman daha yüksek sayıdaydı. Mesela Xiongnuların ordu sayısı sadece 60 bin kişiydi. 2) Huhanyeh'in MÖ 57'deki vasallığı tamamen çıkar ilişkisine dayalıydı ve sembolikti.

"Newsom said he'd organize to make sure Democrats aren't mathematically locked off the November ballot in a jungle primary system Republicans designed. That's called campaigning. The party that canceled elections mid-vote in Louisiana and redrew maps mid-primary in Alabama wants to lecture someone about changing election outcomes. I documented it."x.com/i/status/20514…

Here is the Governor of California and Democrats’ 2028 frontrunner saying he has a secret backup plan to change the outcome of an election if his state’s voters pick candidates he doesn’t like. “No Kings,” right Gavin?

@Capn_Pipsqueak in most countries, you have a duty to retreat from violence if you can, allowing such weapons encourages people to ignore that duty and make whatever problem there is, worse than it needs to be

@Chris27085982 Ohio ignored the laws and court rulings to force through an illegal R gerrymandered map a few years back and there was no consequence. So there is precedent for Spanberger and VA Dems to do the same if they were actually serious about protecting democracy

A Somali man from Melvindale, Mich., named Ammar Abdulmajid-Mohamed Said has been charged on May 14 for allegedly plotting an Islamic mass casualty event on a U.S. military base in Warren, Mich. on behalf of ISIS. Said was a former member of the Michigan Army National Guard. A large number of Somalis residing in the U.S. have been convicted over the years of Islamic terrorism, in addition to mass fraud that is now being uncovered. The community relies heavily on public assistance and exploits American ignorance of Somalian culture and language to conduct fraud in the open.

A one-vote margin just changed the conversation around ICE in Minnesota. In a razor-thin 34–33 vote, the state Senate backed a bill banning ICE agents from wearing masks during operations, and giving residents the right to sue if they believe their constitutional rights were violated.
