Nebenzya, Russia’s envoy to the UN, claims Ukraine uses strike drones to “kill and harm Russian civilians” and accuses Kyiv of “gamifying” warfare. He says this undermines the fundamental principles of armed conflict. WHAT A NONSENSE Ukraine has consistently operated within international law while defending itself from a state that invades, occupies, deports children, executes prisoners, bombs civilians in their homes. Ukrainian children and entire families are being killed at night in their apartments, while sleeping in their own beds, by Russian missiles and drones. And Russia still has the nerve to lecture Ukraine about the “principles” of warfare. There is not enough space on this platform to list all the laws and norms Russia has violated.

How Russia Is Turning Children into Soldiers for a Future War Against Europe. A new study by Megan Gittos titled "Russia’s Forced Occupation of Ukraine" reveals a system of "drone schools" for children in the occupied territories, where, starting as young as age eight, they are taught to assemble, program, and pilot combat drones. "This is a terrifying machinery of indoctrination. Russia takes children from the very cities it has destroyed and brainwashes them into flying the very drones that are directed against their own compatriots today—and that could potentially threaten Europe tomorrow." The findings of the analysis indicate that Russia is gearing up for a long-term war. By establishing drone schools amidst the rubble of Ukrainian cities, it is creating a long-term security crisis—not only for Ukraine but for the entire European continent. To counter this indoctrination now, more is needed than mere sanctions against individual officials; what is required is a rigorous international tribunal regarding the abduction and militarization of children—a direct and blatant violation of the Geneva Conventions.
