@onuro Designers are cooked ... proceeds to add their design as the output
English

I'll be brutally honest:
Sorry guys, but I wouldn't hire 80% of the designers I see on X today.
- Stealing others work.
- Re-posting others work for followers.
- Posting A or B stuff with visuals that has 0 UX or UI value.
- Re-posting 20 year old UX/UI design rules as if they're new
- Completely misinterpreting newest design trends(inconsistent shadows/unreal execution of skeuomorphism)
They're also the thousands of designers applying to Senior Product Designer jobs with 2 years of experience 2 hours after the job is posted.
This needs to be fixed.

@vanschneider I have a page in Figma with almost 2 million layers in it. I wanted to test if can fill the whole canvas end to end and to see if my macbook would be happy about it. 😂 I know exactly what you mean by organised chaos. There are versions that i know exactly where to zoom to find.

@kail_designs I was looking for the 'i one shotted this video in one prompt'. Good luck!

@PeterTarka These are nice! I deliberately save good coffee packaging. My favorite one so far is process.coffee/collections/co…

@DannPetty @figma This is great! It would be great if you can drop multiple images(like the tile version where you can show multiple screens)
English

After I finish a design project,
the last thing I want to do is open Figma again just to make a post image.
I usually default to a plain screenshot.
That’s why I built Reframe.
(Entirely in @Figma Make!)
Paste any image — and an entire grid of layout options generates instantly.
Pick one.
Edit.
Copy.
Post.
No extra layout.
No extra steps.
Made for the @contra x #FigmaMakeathon

@socoloffalex @pizzaboy I thought its AI slop when i first saw it. Had to double check that its real

I swear God @pizzaboy would be a much better fit for a Kratos.
This looks like a God of War from Temu.

@oykun @crucialaidesign My longest client relationship is 8+ years and going. It's not constant work, but every few months he reaches out for something new. It's magical when you learn how your brains operate. Feedback becomes streamlined, execution becomes lightning fast.
English

my longest retainer client lasted 29 months.
fintech/banking. trading apps, design systems, brand, team building, strategy, ...
i went deep into one product, one team. learned their language. understood their pressure. became part of how they thought.
$26k a month (billed weekly).
29 months.
$754k total from a single client.
but honestly the number isn't the point.
i made lifelong friends.
i had drinks at xMas parties.
i went through tough strategy meetings.
i helped hiring designers, developers.
i moved the product and the team forward.
i felt i was trusted.
that's what i've always prioritised at @crucialaidesign .
depth over volume. always.

designers, what's your longest client relationship?

@toddsaunders Software designs were always easy to steal or replicate. I never liked that people did it, and there are cheap UI kits that do a better job than most vibe-coded products. But as a designer it's easy to spot when a piece of software was not built in collaboration with a designer.

Multiple people have told me that they use Dribble to create their design.md files in Claude code.
I didn’t even know dribble was still a thing tbh, but here’s what they do:
1/ screenshot a UI they like
2/ put into Claude and tell it to use this as inspiration for UI/UX and make a markdown file
3/ review it as a senior designer from red antler to make final polish
And honestly all their products look great.
But I think this is stealing?
Or inspiration?
No idea but what a time to be alive!
English

@hobdaydesign Really depends on context. Ive done dozens of a/b tests and in some cases A won because people liked the simplicity and others where B won because of the extra context text gives.

I am curious about which one of these is a better approach (regardless of the execution). I have never seen ANY evidence that one approach is better. The best practices for landing page design are fuzzy at best.

Normal illustrations or real app visuals?

It's been a wild year, and I'm grateful for the incredible people, clients, and friends I've met in both my personal and professional life. It's been a busy one:
- Bought a commercial property
- Bought a second residential property
- Left my full-time job to return to full-time freelancing since 2021
- Started a podcast @shape_fm with @PixelJanitor
- Worked with amazing people at @wireframe and lined up several clients for 2026
I can't thank everyone enough who follows me on here. Without your support and encouragement, none of this would be possible.
🖤

@avstorm Tools are nice, but weakening the abilities. Keeping things in basics and fundamentals helps you to achieve your goals in any tools. So I prefer Figma although Sketch version seems easier and more efficient.
