So people aged over 67 shouldn't have savings, shouldn't have a house of their own, shouldn't have a pension (according to today's young adults)......but should provide free child-care & if the kids have moved away the parents should move to provide said child-care.

For me the most disconcerting aspect is the support for the Troubles Bill by the Veteran Labour MPs.
They must be only interested in their political careers.
Their lack of courage in standing up to their failing leader is pitiful.
They could force one more U-turn which would make little difference.
I bet they had no idea when elected almost two years ago that they would be in this embarrassing predicament!

At the last count there were around 250 operators under current investigation, 120 still serving. The lads despise the Labour government, especially the likes of Carns with his background.
