🚨 JENSEN HUANG: “The amount of energy that we need for computing is probably 1,000x more than we currently have.”

Excited to announce that my 83-page ASSIMILATION Act has been introduced. Months of labor were undertaken by my staff, @SenTuberville and myself in order to GUT the Hart-Celler Act of 1965, as well as scrap provisions of the Immigration Act of the 1990s. The goal of this bill is simple: end replacement migration and ensure American cultural cohesion. This bill will end the H-1B scam, ensure migrants NEVER become a public charge, and make America look like America again. FYI, net immigration immediately decreases by 85% under this bill. Some other things it does: • National Interest Standard • Stringent Character Tests • Mandatory E-Verify • Ends Chain Migration • Ends Diversity Lottery • GUTS Birthright Citizenship • WAY Tougher Asylum Standards • Stronger Public Charge Rules • 10 Year Citizenship Requirement • English & American Civics PROFICIENCY

CATO Institute advocate for mass immigration: "Give up on the mass deportation fantasy. One in five Fairfax residents is someone who could be deported or lives with them. It would destroy neighborhoods.”

I’m a little confused here. Medical graduates spend years in med school, take on massive debt, and go through the Match process competing for a limited number of residency spots. So why does @IndianaUniv have “Notice of Intent to Hire H-1B / E-3 Employee” listings for Medical Residents across IU hospitals? Residency training is already a bottleneck. So what’s the rationale behind sponsoring visas for these positions instead of prioritizing U.S. graduates who are also competing for them? atlas.iu.edu/istart/control…

🚨 JUST IN: The unelected SENATE PARLIAMENTARIAN has STRUCK DOWN major provisions of the GOP's ICE-CBP reconciliation funding bill This is RIDICULOUS! The parliamentarian has been a HUGE roadblock, even playing games with the Big Beautiful Bill last year Thune should've removed her a LONG time ago. Now, Republicans have to go back and fix: - CBP sections - Border security, tech and screening funds - Some $2.5B relating to Homeland Security Appropriations And then wait for her "green light" so it can pass with 50+1 votes.
