I think the first place that AI will make a difference for DTC and already has is customer support. Creative is not far off, and we’ve seen some cool stuff this week on here. We use @Richpanel which is built with AI in mind. Their AI has already made a big difference for us. I had lunch with @realamitrg yesterday and he showed me some awesome data. Our team is now half of what it used to be. Our agents that are using AI are almost three times as productive, with no drop in CSAT scores. Over 70% of our tickets now use some sort of AI. Amit said most are helping us draft but we edit 30% of them. In 12-18 months we’ll only have to edit 2% of them, so those 98% can go out without human review IF you want that. The Richpanel self service widget has also reduced 15% of our tickets, and we have more we can to to cut another 15%. We’re also about to test their AI social media manager for ad comments. Richpanel is a podcast sponsor, but this is not a sponsored post. I appreciate anyone willing to fly to meet customers in person and Amit and team have been incredible supporting JRB as partners. I also hate to see DTC brands ripped off by overpriced, outdated legacy vendors who raised too much money. Oh also Richpanel is like have the price of those ones. Highly recommend it!

@DaveRekuc id say the newer saas players are delivering more value for the price @RivoCommerce and @Richpanel come to mind the SAAS that can survive has a moat ERPs need connections, so @fulfilio is safe @northbeam is building tighter relationships with the ad channels

This was fun so I’m gonna do a part 2. Here are a few other agencies or companies who I give my full endorsement to because of how good of a partner they have been to us: 1. Richpanel / @Richpanel Our CX software, it’s gonna eat Gorgias lunch. Cheaper, better ux, built with AI in mind, and @realamitrg has gone above and beyond to help us cut tickets and improve efficiency. 2. @drewfallon12 / @IrisFinanceCo. Drew is my go to when I have a finance question. Iris is great and Drew is the man and super knowledgeable. 3. @PrettyDamnTweet / PDQ. We’ve made some really nice margin improvements from implementing PDQ and doing a ton of testing. Another team that goes above and beyond 4. @MehtabKarta is the man. If you need to find a way to cut costs you should work with him. Highly recommend these guys!

I'm feeling the holiday spirit, and there's too much negativity on here. I want to shout out some partners that I can vouch for. We expect a lot from our partners and these always deliver: 1. Odyssey Ad Creative - We've had terrible experiences with most ad creative agencies. Odyssey is the only one we've scaled hard with. Small team so you can get great attention. @akejabrams 2. Household/ @gregMschwartz Weve gone from $0 to close to 20% of our spend on TV. Greg has managed it the whole way. We talked a year and a half ago, set a plan and did our first shoot and then launched in Dec. It's been huge for our growth. Another very small agency, so we get Greg on calls every week. 3. KNO / @JeremiahPrummer. Jeremiah is one of the best dudes in DTC and he's always willing to help with some analysis. 4. Ecom Experts / @AndrewDurot . I tweeted about them a few weeks ago. They saved our ass for free before BFCM. Their level of support is next level. Pretty sure Andrew was fixing a bug for us while his wife was in labor. Does your agency do that? 5. @oliviaakory / Haus. Olivia is one of the smartest and bets people in our space. Haus has been a godsend for us. I am an advisor to them, but I recommend Haus for one reason. We spend many millions on ads and I need to know what's working and what's not. Haus is the only causal method. 6. @Agentiohq. Been talking a lot about them because I'm so excited to launch. Their team is also great, they will hop on calls at any time to troubleshoot or give advice. They even drove a few hours out to our office to brainstorm. 7. Gatemaker / @AshtonWall is the best influencer mind out there. We have learned a ton from her and her agency.
