According to Australian courts, trans women must be given access to any and all spaces reserved for women, because they are the same.
According to UK courts, women only spaces do NOT have to allow trans women, because they are NOT the same.
I don't care which side of this you're on, can you see the absurdity of handing these sorts of definitions and decisions over to the government? Right now within the same Commonwealth we have mutually exclusive definitions of what a woman is.
The problem here is that as a culture we 'worship' government, and I mean that quite literally, we allow government to play God, to make decisions and definitions that predate government, things that are defined in nature, in creation, things that are quite literally above the pay-grade of any human opinion.
Government is a johnny-come-lately and has no business redefining the things that came before, things that were defined in nature, or defined in culture, long before we invented the monstrosity that is 'government'.
Redefining 'marriage'.
Redefining 'woman'.
Redefining 'hate'.
Redefining 'justice'.
Redefining 'equity'.
Redefining 'good' and 'evil'.
Redefining anything and everything, remaking creation in its own image, seeking to 'perfect' us according to its own vision of perfection.
This is what I mean when I warn of the 'idolatry' of government, the 'worship' of government. It is nothing more than the worship of power, they 'do' because they 'can', and because they 'can' they insist it's 'right'.
Except that the UK courts, and the Australian courts, cannot both be 'right'.
We are deep down the rabbit hole, somewhere between the Mad Hatter's party and the 'Off with his head' Queen of Hearts.
This isn't about who made the 'right' decision, this is about the fact that we tolerate the government making such a decision at all.

The Federal Court has upheld the original decision in Giggle v Tickle and has also increased damages to trans-activist Roxanne Tickle.
In my opinion, we now have a court in Australia that has decided that biological reality is optional, and that every Australian woman's privacy and right to exclude biological men from female spaces, doesn't matter.
This is an assault on the safety and dignity of all women and girls.
You may be able to take hormones, change your clothes and your name, however you cannot change your DNA.
Men are men, women are women - and no court ruling can change that.

The Full Federal Court has handed down its judgement in Giggle v Tickle.
In a shock to women across the country - Sall Grover not only lost her appeal, the Court set aside the original finding of indirect discrimination and replaced it with direct discrimination, upholding Tickle's cross-appeal.
The damages were doubled from $10,000 to $20,000.
It’s important to note the Court expressly said it was only applying the Sex Discrimination Act as it is written- it is "not empowered to give effect to its own view" about whether that law is desirable.
In 2013, @JuliaGillard’s @AustralianLabor government amended the Sex Discrimination Act- stripping the meaning out of "man" and "woman" and adding gender identity as a protected attribute to be pitted against biological sex.
Today's outcome is proof of what those amendments have done: women are left with no meaningful rights or recognition under the Sex Discrimination Act - a bitter irony, given that protecting women was the very purpose of the Act under our commitment to CEDAW.
In my opinion, this is a verdict on the law, not on Sall. The judges found that the law - as that government amended it - left them no other conclusion.
These amendments must be repealed.
The Sex Discrimination Act must once again recognise biological reality and protect women's right to single-sex spaces.
What a dark and devastating day for Australian women and girls.

Its YouTube channel’s subscriber base is starting to shrink, and its website has emerged as one of the great traffic losers in conservative media. There are ‘Daily Wire’ YouTube videos that now, after a few days online, have less than 10,000 views, a catastrophically small number for a channel with more than 3 million subscribers. The top comments all mock the low view counts.
“If a variety of poor business decisions can be blamed, in part, for the ‘Daily Wire’’s fall from grace — ill-fated investments in feature films, an epic fantasy series, and peculiar merchandise — the greater story is the collapse of Shapiro’s constituency,” writes Barkan. “There are two realities to Shapiro conservatism in 2026: It retains a significant foothold among Republican elites, and it is fast being rejected by the future grassroots of the party.”

Israel was using force in Gaza on 6/10. It had continuously done so in one way or another since 1967, despite ending that conflict in 1979 with a formal peace agreement. There is therefore no justification for that force, making Israel the aggressor, not the State of Palestine

I’ve been saying since last year, that Australia was following the same electoral polling trend as the UK, but we were just 18 months.
Just substitute Reform with One Nation.
Reform moved ahead of the Conservatives in late 2024, and surpassed Labour at the start of 2025.
And here we are around 18 months after Reform surpassed Labour in the polling in the UK, with One Nation have just surpassed Labor for the first time.
Mark that down as another one to add to the list - Craig Kelly was right.
